FULL TIME - and as easy an outing as Liverpool will have this season. Fulham were abysmal and Rodgers' side made them pay. The Reds go up into the top half, joint eighth, and at least they end a miserable year at home on a positive note.
Excellent work from Enrique, who slalomed down the byline from a short corner and pulled back a perfect pass for Suarez who made no mistake from nine yards out.
GOAL Suarez slots home! Enrique pulled it back and the Uruguayan calmly finished.
Three added minutes as Liverpool win a corner.
Rodallega hits the post with a free kick on the edge of the box - the best chance Fulham have had.
Dejagah's effort is deflected - corner for Fulham.
People filtering out now. Long trek back for Fulham's fans. Hope the club give them their money back.
Suarez draws a smart save from Schwarzer as Suarez looks for the far corner from the free kick.
Sterling gets round Karagounis, who slides in, brings down the winger, and gets a booking.
Berbatov sets up Riether with a good chance to cross but his pull back is cut out by Gerrard. Poor.
Carragher replaces Lucas.
Frei gets past Johnson but can only flick a weak cross towards Rodallega, then Suarez nudges Hughes out of the way and a free kick is given to Fulham.
Another weak Berbatov effort, this time with his left, and this time Reina clings on.
Berbatov's first effort, a low shot that bounces in front of Reina who parries, and Skrtel clears.
Nearly a worldy from Suarez as he beats two players and stumbles into the box - Schwarzer comes out and parries, then both collapse on the ball until the 'keeper emerges with it.
The free kick flashes across goal, Johnson meets it, the ball breaks for Gerrard but Schwarzer blocks his effort as he tried to finish low into the net.
Dejagah clatters into Enrique and gives away a free kick. He is carded for his trouble too.
You could hear a pin drop at Anfield now. I think the crowd have had enough of this atrocious weather.
Sterling again rushes into the box and tries a delicate one-two, he goes down when Riether gets his body in the way of the ball and though the Kop scream for a pen, Clattenberg is right not to give it.
That's Shelvey's last involvement as he is replaced by Joe Allen.
Sterling swaps passes with Shelvey and tries to dink the ball over Hughes but the deflection nearly ends up creeping in the far corner. From the corner, Shelvey glances wide.
Suso comes off and Rahim Sterling will get 20 minutes to show why he's just signed a new long-term deal.
Again, good pressing induces a Fulham mistake in midfield, Gerrard nearly gets into the area before Downing lashes a shot just over the bar. He's been very good today.
Decent strike from Johnson after cutting in on his left but it was never troubling the net.
Berbatov has barely put a foot wrong when he's got the ball, the trouble is he's hardly seen it in a dangerous area of the pitch.
I think Liverpool have realised they can play at 50% for the rest of the match and still add a few more.
Frei has at least made a difference - he's taking people on when he gets the ball.
Finally, Reina is tested, albeit by a Dejagah cross, but he palms away before Agger completes the clearance.
Martin Jol has to take some blame for this too - Liverpool playing a quick passing game and pressing high up the pitch is hardly a surprise is it?
A half chance for Rodallega who is left unmarked from the corner, but he can only glance wide.
Frei has a run at Johnson and wins a corner from Lucas. Maybe he can provide a spark with some direct running.
Shelvey should make it four, he and Suarez are two on two but the former Charlton man fires over via a deflection. Suarez is not happy.
Frei replaces Kieran Richardson.
Glen Johnson is carded for a foul on Riether. Late, lungey and probably a booking.
How easy was that? Downing is left one-on-one with Riise, who backtracks into his own box too easily, then fails to block off Downing's route to get on his left foot and watches as the winger slams the ball past Schwarzer.
GOAL Downing scores! Yes, Downing!
Apart from one or two nice touches, Berbatov has done nothing in this game. Just wandered round looking bored.
Very little change from Fulham by the looks - Hangeland still dreadful, no pressure on the ball.
By the way, Rodallega is on for Fulham, Kacaniklic the man who makes way.
What a chance to put the game beyond doubt - Downing's deflected cross finds Suarez free at the back post but from eight yards out he fumbles a shot wide. Poor.
We begin again...
Steven Gerrard doubles Liverpool's lead
In case you missed any of the action from this afternoon then get up to speed with our Premier League wrap.
Skrtel fires Liverpool in front
HALF TIME - as easy as you like for Liverpool, who have been able to stroke the ball around at leisure. Fulham have been terrible and need a different attitude and gameplan in the second half.
News from Spain - Mourinho has dropped Iker Casillas from the Real Madrid side. Interesting. Messi has just scored too Valladolid 0-2 Barca.
Liverpool harry Fulham when they are in possession - the visitors don't at all.
Shelvey was in the middle and wanted the cutback. He went down after being clipped by Hangeland but he's up and about again now.
Suarez, rather greedily, tries to score from a tight angle after being sprung through by Johnson.
And Suso should make it three. Fulham give the ball away, Suarez finds Suso and he fires wide from inside the box when he should have scored.
Fulham are surely in for an absolute hiding at half time - they've been shocking.
Excellent work from Downing and a fine run from Gerrard but with the amount of players Fulham had back there is no way they should be conceding from that situation.
A beautiful goal as Downing slides a dreamy pass into the box for Gerrard who gets there ahead of Hangeland and fires across the 'keeper into the bottom corner.
GOAL Gerrard makes it two!
Gerrard's radar is slightly off this time as he looks for Suso. Very quiet inside Anfield.
Gerrard's whipped ball is claimed by Schwarzer, who throws out to Berbatov.
A marauding run from Johnson is stopped by Hangeland - illegally. Free kick wide right.
Richardson's delivery is good but Johnson and Agger make sure Hangeland can't meet it.
Karagounis is felled by Suso now and Fulham have a free kick wide on the right.
Riether does very well to track Suso and cut out Suarez's superb reverse pass. The Spaniard was in on goal otherwise.
No deflection, Reina just misjudged the shot and went the wrong way. Good job he recovered or that would have been mighty embarrassing.
Richardson has a go from range and bizarrely, Reina saves with his legs. A deflection perhaps?
That was an incredible miss - though Agger was on the stretch.
What a miss! Gerrard's shot breaks for Suarez who squares it to Agger with pace, but the defender's effort at an open goal from four yards out hits the UPPER tier of the stand!
Poor from Fulham as Karagounis gives the ball away, Downing gets to it ahead of Richardson and Liverpool win a free kick.
At the other end Suarez has a pop from outside the box, but drags his effort wide of the target.
Fulham trying to exert some attacking authority now as Kacaniklic gets into the area, but Skrtel does well to block his shot.
Then a deep ball to the back post sees Hangeland misjudge the ball flight and Skrtel wins a header but from a tight angle he can't trouble Schwarzer.
Gerrard's corner is poor and cleared at the near post by Berbatov.
Johnson wins a corner from former Anfield favourite Riise.
Dejagah robs Enrique of the ball and draws a foul from the left back. Martin Jol is tearing into his players from the touchline.
Hangeland nods clear as a cross is dinked in from the right hand side.
Better from Fulham as Karagounis gets on the ball, finds Berbatov but his cross is gobbled up by Reina.
Fulham have been abject so far. There's only one team in it.
What a rasper from Downing! A superb strike and Schwarzer tips it onto the side-netting but none of the officials saw it.
Lucas looks for the run of Suarez but over-hits the pass.
Maybe that will force Fulham out of their shells a bit more as Shelvey tries to latch on to a long ball downfield.
The corner falls to Skrtel who has time to bring the ball down and whack it past Schwarzer from 15 yards out. Fierce finish, poor marking.
GOAL Skrtel scores!
Excellent ball from Gerrard, who shifts play to Enrique but his half-volleyed cross isn't met by a red shirt. Then Shelvey tries a flick from a cross from the right and wins a corner.
Some crisp passing from Liverpool until Suarez gives it away. Fulham happy to sit deep.
Free header for Agger as the ball comes in but he couldn't get on top of his effort and get in on target.
Super work from Enrique as he charges into the box and wins a corner.
And just like most games in the top flight today - it is lashing it down.
Fulham won 1-0 here last year lest we forget. Can they conjure up a repeat?
Plenty at stake today - Liverpool can move eighth with a win today, if Fulham win they will go above their opponents.
As for Fulham, Martin Jol makes three changes as former Liverpool reserve Alex Kacaniklic, Giorgos Karagounis and Ashkan Dejagah come in.
Two changes for Liverpool - Rahim Sterling is benched despite signing a long-term contract on Friday. Joe Allen is also rested as Suso comes back into the side and Jose Enrique is fit again after injury.
Evening all and welcome to live coverage of Liverpool's clash with Fulham.
