The Hawthorns, England
FULL TIME - and that is that. A great second half and Villa will be devastated they couldn't hold onto a 2-0 lead. West Brom fought back well and could have won it but their first half performance was criminal. Villa move above Reading into 17th.
Brunt comes off clutching his hammy and Dawson is on.
The offside flag is up and the most grateful man at The Hawthorns is Benteke - his pass looked to have set Jones up for a run on Guzan.
Barnstorming run from Lukaku, his cross to the near post is lunged at by Odemwingie but Lichaj does extremely well to clear behind.
How is that not a back pass?! Battling with Lukaku, Lowton stabs the ball back to his keeper, who catches, and that is a decision Probert has bottled.
Four minutes added....
Eventually Brunt swings in a cross, Odemwingie gets up but nods wide from nine yards out in a crowd scene.
West Brom win a corner after Guzan let the ball run out. WBA take it short and win another one.
Foster releases Rosenberg from a Villa corner, he tries to beat Bennett and the ball breaks for Lukaku, steaming onto the ball, but he skews his shot wide from the edge of the box.
Villa again struggle to deal with Lukaku in the area - he and Clark had hands all over each other.
Villa screamed for a foul as McAuley's marker, Lichaj I think, fell to the floor. There was grappling.
From a corner McAuley heads towards goal and Odemwingie volleys into the net from close range. Heartbreak for Villa.
GOAL Odemwingie finally finds the net!
Rosenberg replaces Dorrans, as we see a replay of a Baggies fans throw a snowball at Matt Lowton. He missed.
Add that one to the list - Holman drags a shot wide of the target from 25 yards.
Odemwingie, why do QPR want him? He brings down a Thomas cross and thumps his shot a mile over the bar.
Odemwingie scuffs a shot two yards wide of the post.
Villa sitting deeper and deeper now.
Lukaku dribbles into the area but loses possession. Back come West Brom.
The long range shooting in this game has been utterly dreadful. Holman the culprit this time.
Wow, did anyone watching the game see that? Was Steve Clarke asleep on the bench?!
Brunt whacks one wide with his right foot. Chris, don't do that.
Guzan comes and punches well from Brunt's corner.
Nice football between Thomas and Lukaku as they send Odemwingie to the byline but he smacks the cross miles too fast and nowhere near any of his team-mates.
Jones gets into the area, knocks the ball past Clark and runs into him but that's not enough for a penalty.
Oh dear Odemwingie - he nicks the ball past Guzan as he charges away from goal, but off balance, strikes the ball well over the bar as two Villa defenders rushed to cover the line.
Brett Holman is on, N'Zogbia departs. Decent shift from the Frenchman.
And from it Olsson's header is cleared off the line. As the ball breaks loose, Lukaku's shot runs to Morrison but his toe poke was always rising.
Another Dorrans shot, this time with his left, Lowton gets a touch and it flies behind for a corner.
Excellent from Benteke as he gets in the area and tries to cross. Olsson blocks well.
Now Dorrans goes in the book for bringing down Agbonlahor as he was about to embark on another sprint towards West Brom's goal.
Lowton is carded for taking the ball away with him after he'd fouled Odemwingie.
Good tackle from McAuley as Agbonlahor's direct running takes him into the area again. He's been good this evening.
What a chance for Villa - Agbonlahor skips past Olsson and only has Foster to beat, the goalkeeper gets his angles wrong and the far corner is gaping but the striker's shot is right at him.
Thomas is upended by Lichaj as West Brom broke from Villa's corner and he sees yellow.
Now Benteke goes down as Ridgwell's arm comes across in the box. Probably not a pen.
Before that WBA wanted a pen as Westwood tackled Odemwingie but that would have been a very soft award.
Thomas does well to beat Lowton to the ball and cross for Lukaku but the ball was behind him and he can only flick it too long for anyone else.
Agbonlahor does well to jink to the byline but his eventual effort from a tight angle soars into the away end.
Barry Bannan is coming on and Fabian Delph limps off...
The worst possible start Villa could have had to the second half. Baggies' tails up.
What a lovely finish. Lukaku gets the ball six yards from goal with his back to Guzan, lays it back to the edge of the box and Brunt sidefoots home. Superb.
GOAL Brunt slams home!
Brunt crosses and Lukaku tries to get on the end of it. Brighter start from the home side but it couldn't have got much worse in fairness.
We begin again...
Gabby Agbonlahor enjoyed his goal against Villa's local rivals West Brom
HALF TIME - boos ring out as the whistle goes, and I can understand the home fans' frustration. They've been ripped apart by their local rivals and must do something at the break to improve.
Much better from Brunt as he chests down a deflected cross then volleys powerfully on goal but it is right down Guzan's throat.
Excellent scrambling from Guzan to prevent a corner after Lukaku's shot had been blocked by Clark.
That is an awful tackle, Lukaku late and high on N'Zogbia. You've seen red cards for less this season.
What a chance! Villa an inch away from going 3-0 up as N'Zogbia got into the box and squared for Lichaj but Foster parried his point blank shot. That would have been game over.
That's better, but it still ends with a Dorrans shot going wide. Some neat touches on the edge of the box but Dorrans fires wide on the half volley.
West Brom need something back before half time. They will still get a rocket even if they do.
Thomas wants a foul when he actually fell over his own feet.
This is as insipid as I've seen West Brom this season. They've been awful. Dorrans shoots from range again and it gets worse and worse and worse.
Yacob hasn't recovered from that blow he got from N'Zogbia, Jerome Thomas comes on.
And that is the worst of the lot - Morrison, on the volley, strikes it ten yards wide. Looks like West Brom are going to make a change. Good idea.
Now Morrison fires over from 20 yards with another long shot.
Dorrans fires in a shot from range but Guzan holds on well.
Superb goal too, a nice ball down the line for N'Zogbia, he slots inside to Agbonlahor and he turns inside his man to fire past Foster.
GOAL Agbonlahor makes it 2-0!
West Brom are playing like the team in relegation trouble. Not getting tight, not tackling or closing down. Not good enough.
And from the corner Vlaar gets up at the near post to win the header but can't get enough on the ball.
N'Zogbia tries to take on Jones and beats him, via a stumble, but the defender gets back to block the cross. Corner.
Morrison tries to link with Lukaku but Vlaar blocks the pass well and diverts it through to Guzan.
Home fans very quiet all of a sudden. Villa bossing proceedings.
Delph took a whack from Jones in that move and is hobbling about.
An awful effort from Odemwingie as he skews a long shot wide from 35 yards out.
Bad call from the linesman as Benteke chested down a long ball into the area. He was clearly on.
Agbonlahor and Olsson continue their argument, even after Lee Probert called both captains across, and they are rightly booked.
Ridiculous from both Agbonlahor and Olsson. The striker claims handball when it hit the defender's chest - Olsson reacts furiously, they have a little shove and it all gets a bit silly.
N'Zogbia gives Yacob a thump in an aerial challenge and the midfielder needs treatment.
and from it Lukaku nearly scores - the ball is kept alive inside the area and it is actually Morrison who swings a leg at the ball, volleying right at Guzan.
Delph races back to tackle Odemwingie. Corner.
West Brom's fans getting a bit restless now - Villa are on top.
Yacob tries to respond but his long shot probably had about 2% of the power of Benteke's. Now McAuley tackles Agbonlahor inside the area and times it well.
A screamer, an absolute screamer. Benteke gets the ball with his back to goal, turns and smashes it into the far corner from 25 yards. Brilliant.
GOAL Benteke with an amazing strike!
Jones loses track of the ball down the right flank and dribbles the ball behind for a goal kick.
Plenty of possession for Villa, but West Brom looking the more dangerous when they've got it.
Lukaku gets wide left and crosses to the near post, Guzan claims bravely, and is clattered by Odemwingie for his trouble.
Lichaj has slotted in at the back as Villa reorganise.
Olsson tries to get up for the corner but lands awkwardly. Lots of pushing and shoving in the penalty area.
Lichaj comes on for the unfortunate Baker.
Looks like Nathan Baker has pulled a muscle in that last WBA break too. He'll need to be replaced.
Now West Brom with some neat possession, Odemwingie gets down the right and crosses, then Lukaku's shot is blocked behind.
Fast start from Villa as Agbonlahor crosses long, then they win a corner but Benteke is penalised for pushing.
A minute's applause pre kick off for ex-WBA legend Derek Kevan.
Villa captain and defender Ron Vlaar is back after being out for seven weeks with a calf problem - that is big for Paul Lambert. Darren Bent is on the bench.
Claudio Yacob is back after an eight-game absence, replacing Jerome Thomas. QPR target Peter Odemwingie is recalled at the expense of George Thorne.
Villa have dropped into the bottom three after Reading climbed out, but Villa can leapfrog them with a win tonight.
