And a quick reminder, I'll be back with MatchDay Live at 19.15 GMT and we'll also have live commentary on Marseille v Inter from 19.30 GMT.
FULL TIME City cruise through in a game they never really looked like losing. They played a cute tactical game, letting Porto come onto them and operating on the break. Aguero was excellent and Pizarro made an impact from the bench. They are through to face either Legia Warsaw or Sporting Lisbon in the last 16.
Hulk tries a final effort from range and the ball takes a flick off Lescott. Corner.
Two minutes added as Defour forces Hart into a save. He came on for Rodriguez a moment ago.
Quite a demoralising defeat for Porto - they've played the better football for most of the game but never really looked like scoring. City, however, have been clinical.
Some lovely skill from Silva is appreciated by the crowd, then a nasty tackle between Christian Rodriguez and Yaya Toure. The former was late, the latter looked like he trod on his opponent.
Two goals in three minutes and that is a little unfair on Porto.
A bit of ping pong on the edge of the box, Dzeko's pass takes a deflection into Pizarro's path and he slots home coolly from 11 yards.
GOAL Pizarro gets his first City goal!
Sloppy from Porto, as they give the ball away, Pizarro gets a return pass from Dzeko and pulls it across for Silva to tap into an unguarded net.
GOAL Silva makes it 3-0.
I did City a disservice earlier - the crowd is 39,000.
It's still a filthy night out there - the rain hasn't stopped.
Aguero, who has been superb, is replaced by David Pizarro.
There might be more goal sfor City in this, if they can be bothered, as Porto are looking very ragged now.
Silva puts Dzeko through but this time he is flagged offside.
A red card for Rolando too, for arguing. Not sure what he's moaning about. Anyway, he already had a yellow and gets another.
A lovely move and a great ball from Aguero - Dzeko makes a run inside Rolando and finishes from Aguero's excellent pass.
Rodriguez tries a very ambitious low curler from 30 yards. It doesn't work.
Dzeko has time and space on the ball but gives it away - provoking groans from the crowd.
One goal for Porto now and this could get very interesting.
Hulk does well to round Clichy and get to the byline, again he drills a low ball in but this one pops up and allows Lescott to clear.
Nasri off and Edin Dzeko on.
Another poor free kick from Hulk, who sends this one high and wide. Not been convincing tonight.
Toure gets a yellow card - his third of the competition - and he will miss the next match. Moutinho was the player he brought down.
Toure tries to put Aguero through but Rolando has the pace to get to the ball first.
Otamendi is holding a tissue to his eye, which seems to be bleeding from the lid. He looks in some discomfort. He's still sitting on the bench though.
Sapunaru and Christian Rodriguez are coming on for Porto while Varela and Otamendi are coming off.
That was nasty. Helton certainly didn't like what he saw and the replay seemed to show something flying through the air after contact was made. He's up again now though. Brave lad.
Silva forces Helton into a save as a cross came back to him. Otamendi is now rolling around the floor in agony after he was booted in the face by team-mate Maicon as he went to nod clear a looping pass.
Mind you, with Aguero looking this dangerous they can almost afford to leave him up top and let him create his own chances. He forces Maicon into another rushed clearance.
Great skill from Hulk but his last touch overruns the ball so he can't get a shot away. Porto are bound to score if they carry on like this. Why are City playing so deep?
Milner comes on for Barry.
The ball was driven across from the right, Hulk was offside and in front of Lescott, whose clearance then trickled to Rodriguez to score. Correct decision.
Porto have the ball in the net but the flag is up!
He didn't even stretch - he just cleared the ball downfield then crumpled in a heap on the floor.
Richards is down after stretching to clear a cross into his own box. He looks in real pain.
Yet another driven ball in from Hulk, this time Hart parries away. Porto growing in confidence here.
Real chance for Porto as the ball breaks from Gonzalez on the edge of the box - Barry at fault - but his low shot creeps wide of the post.
Porto do work the ball around very well. This cultured move ends with a ball into the box from Rodriguez but Kompany nods clear.
More excellent work from Aguero - Nasri finds him with a ball over the top, he gets to the byline and pulls it across for Silva but Rolando does well to get there first.
Aguero is at it again, winning a corner inside the opening minute.
We begin again...
And while you are at it, why not have a look at ESPN's pre-match interview with Roberto Mancini where he confirms he'll be meeting with Carlos Tevez tomorrow. UK only, again.
Hot off the press, here is video of Sergio Aguero's opening goal. UK only.
Don't forget that later on we'll have live commentary on Marseille v Inter from 19.30 GMT and our usual, high quality MatchDay Live service covering that game and Basel v Bayern, hosted by guess who? Yep, moi.
Aguero puts City ahead on 19 seconds
HALF TIME An interesting half, with Porto almost playing as the home side. City playing on the break after Aguero gave them the lead in 19 seconds and creating the better of the openings.
One extra minute at the end of the half.
From the corner Rolando heads down for Maicon but he blazes over on the volley from nine yards. They've had their chances Porto.
Hulk blasts it and a deflection takes it behind for a corner. It hit De Jong and could have gone anywhere. The Dutchman had encroached too.
Another sloppy foul from Barry on Hulk and the giant is standing over the ball. It's only 25 yards out and central.
Hulk takes on the shot but hits it right at De Jong then as City break Aguero finds Toure, his touch is heavy and he has to check, then feed Aguero but he slices a shot wide.
Another foul from Silva, this time on Hulk. Free kick 25 yards out on the left wing.
Now Silva wins a corner at the other end as Otamendi blocks his shot.
Rodriguez has looked lively - he tries to thread a ball through for Hulk after Kompany intercepts his first effort but the striker hadn't read it.
Some neat football from Porto ends with another wild shot from range - Lucho Gonzalez busting this one over the top.
City celebrate Aguero's early goal
Another devilish ball across the face of goal from the left - Hulk this time. No-one can profit as it whizzes past Hart.
This game is pootling along at a slowish pace for the most part but is punctuated with some flashes of excellent attacking football.
Fernando hops up and looks like he's keen to deck Silva after the Spaniard clipped him. Aguero intervenes.
The rain is lashing down in Manchester. Big envelopes of rain sweeping across the pitch.
An excellent cross from the left from Hulk sees a superb clearance from Lescott. Good defending.
So unlucky for Aguero! A ball over the top releases him, he goes past Helton, then with Otamendi rushing back to the line the strike lifts it over his head but the ball crashes off the bar. Brilliant football.
Moutinho hammers the ball over the bar when he should have gone for the far corner.
Rodriguez with a neat turn and a cute turn of pace to kid Richards. Porto's players want a card but the only one who sees yellow is Otamendi, for brandishing his own card.
What a shame for Moutinho, a delightful turn to get into the box from a throw in but then as he tries to nudge past Barry he loses his footing and bundles the ball out of play.
Clichy concedes a corner as City continue to soak up pressure and play on the counter.
There are 50 Ajax fans in the stadium apparently, taking in City's match before they take on Manchester United tomorrow.
Fernando has a pop from range but shanks his shot well wide.
Gonzalez shoots from range but Kompany blocks, then Rodriguez's cross is gathered by Hart.
Silva is offside this time as Barry slid a ball down the line. He was clearly on by half a yard though.
Then Porto head down the other end and create their best chance so far, Varela is released thanks to a ball inside Micah Richards but he shoots right at the onrushing Hart.
A great ball from Silva releases Toure, Helton comes out to the box edge and blocks the shot, then as Nasri picks up the ball he passes to Toure instead of shooting and his colleague is offside.
Save for that opening minute goal, City have been pretty sloppy in possession too. Let's hope the game's highlight hasn't been and gone inside 20 seconds.
Rolando is carded for a tug on Aguero's shoulder.
A poor pass from Hulk hands City possession, unusually bad ball retention from the visitors.
There's about 31,000 in the stadium we are told. Not bad considering the kick off time. Plenty of empty seats visible still.
Still only one real attack of quality in the match so far, and City scored at the end of it.
Another decent ball into City's box from the right wing but no-one got anywhere near it.
Of course, if Porto grab two then we'll have extra time.
A slow-mo replay of Aguero's finish shows how low he stooped before he hit it. His head was only about a yard and a half from the ball when he struck it.
A weak header from Pereira now as Porto continue to press forward. Nasri limping a little too. He'll need treatment.
Moutinho fires a volley from range wide as Porto try to recover from that awful opening. Their former gaffer AVB is in the stands, perusing.
Well, a nightmare start for Porto but what a ball from Toure. Clinical finish from Aguero too.
Porto give the ball away and Yaya Toure finds Aguero with a perfect pass, the Argentine striker making no mistake. That could be game over already!
GOAL Aguero after 19 seconds!
And if you are wondering why the game is kicking off so early, it is because the authorities won't allow both Manchester clubs to play at home on the same night (Man Utd host Ajax tomorrow) and UEFA don't want it to clash with tonight's Champions League action.
For Porto, out go Danilo and Alvaro Pereira, in come Alex Sandro and Nicolas Otamendi.
A very strong line-up for CIty, with Aguero for Balotelli the only change from the team that won in Porto last week.
Sergio Aguero got City's winner in Portugal last week
Join us at 17.000 GMT as Manchester City host Porto in their Europa League last-32 tie. City lead 2-1 from the first leg.
