Referee: Mike Dean
FULL TIME A late burst from Johnson is snuffed out by Djourou but Arsenal have to make do with a point. Vermaelen atones for his own goal with the equaliser but this will feel like two points dropped for the Gunners. Fulham battled hard and fully deserved their point.
Vermaelen is forward but he can't connect with the long ball and Fulham have a goal kick. 30 seconds left.
Van Persie meets the corner with a near post glance but Schwarzer grabs gleefully.
Arsenal break downfield and win a corner for themselves.
Four minutes added as Djourou nods the free kick behind for a Fulham corner.
Dembele does extremely well to bring the corner away, hold off two challenges and release Johnson. Santos, in his rush to get the ball back, fouls him in the corner.
Baird's mistake hands Arsenal a corner.
Arsenal have lost a little momentum in the last few minutes. Replays show that Dempsey's block (which was actually made by Baird) was made by his ribs. Right decision.
Diaby holds onto the ball too long and Fulham have a little respite.
Gervinho crosses and Arteta lunges at it, the ball hits Etuhu and Arsenal scream penalty but nothing is given.
Van Persie hits the side-netting as Walcott slides him through but it was never really on as Schwarzer stayed near post and stayed big.
Walcott cuts in and shoots this time but his effort is weak.
Gervinho has been a spark since he came on, this time he cuts in and shoots on goal but it is a comfortable save for Schwarzer and there were numbers in the box.
Seven minutes for either side to find a winner.
A fantastic cross from Walcott and Vermaelen nods down and into the corner.
GOAL Vermaelen makes amends!
Fabulous skill from Van Persie after great work from Gervinho. RVP takes down the cross and juggles it onto his left but he was leaning back and the ball sails over the bar.
It's full on counter attack mode for Fulham now - everyone bar Johnson behind the ball.
Arsenal's fans howl as Senderos barges Gervinho off the ball. He has already been booked remember, but Mike Dean says no foul.
Zamora comes on after a decent shift and Andy Johnson replaces him.
Van Persie beats the wall but not the right side of the post. Two yards wide.
Senderos is booked for a foul on Van Persie. Free kick, 30 yards out and central.
Two goals in his last 32 games for Chamakh.
Changes for both teams, Ruiz replaced by Kasami and for Arsenal, Chamakh comes on for Arshavin.
What a save! A superb point blank stop from Schwarzer as Djourou met Van Persie's corner with a bullet header!
Diaby has looked lively, he goes into the box, finds RVP but he takes it away from goal and offloads to Walcott who wins a corner.
Chamakh is preparing to come on. Audible groan from the Arsenal fans (not really).
Fulham will have to dig deep now in the face of Arsenal's onslaught. Diaby shoots and wins a corner via a deflection.
Song drops back to centre half.
Double change for Arsenal, Ramsey and Mertesacker depart, Gervinho and Diaby come on.
Arsenal's net is bulging again but Zamora was offside. Good finish though.
Well, that wasn't in the script. Vermaelen went with his wrong leg to clear and it cost him. Have Arsenal got enough about them to score twice in 25 minutes?
A great ball from Murphy to find Riise charging into the area, the left back chests it down but Vermaelen scuffs a leg at it only to see it squirm past Szczesny and into the bottom corner.
GOAL Fulham score!
Vermaelen dashes forward but Santos wastes possession and the centre back retreats at speed into his own half.
Nice possession from Fulham as they spray it around. The ball ends at the feet of Dembele but his low shot is right at Szczesny.
Now Mertesacker blocks a shot from Dempsey on the edge of the box. Decent spell of the game.
Now Van Persie wants a penalty as he slaloms into the area, pokes the ball through two defenders and hits the turf but it looked a little soft. No spot kick.
Great work from Arteta, he finds RVP on the right of the box, he cuts inside and fires a shot towards goal but Baird clears before it can hit the net. Great defending.
Ramsey went down from a nudge by Hangeland. Cute defending. Not spotted by the officials.
A strange one, great hold up play from RVP, he spreads it wide to Arshavin who passes square to the edge of the box but Ramsey had fallen over and the the ball hits him and rolls for Hangeland to clear.
Ruiz dinks the ball in to Zamora but the return ball is poor. Ramsey comes away with the ball and finds Walcott but his cross is claimed by Schwarzer.
Once again it is the second ball, not the corner that causes the most problems as an unmarked Zamora fails to connect with Murphy's cross.
Now Dembele is pushed wide by Djourou before the right back gets a boot in. Good defending. Corner.
More pressure from Arsenal as Ramsey takes it wide and tires to drive in a low cross but Riise blocks. Finally, a bit of life from the crowd.
Santos does well down the left and his blocked shot earns Arsenal a corner. Arteta to take.
Vermaelen nods a long ball over the top back to Szczesny as Zamora chased it down.
Ramsey cuts inside and floats a ball for Walcott at the back post but it is overhit.
Good clearing header from Vermaelen as Riise crossed well, then Ramsey's ball for Walcott is intercepted.
A mix up between Senderos and Schwarzer as they both go for a cross and clatter each other. Riise hacks clear.
Another tweet from Arsenal's official website saying the crowd is 60,043 but it looks far from a sell out to me - plenty of empty seats about. Bizarre.
We begin again...
Di Matteo on stories he is unhappy at Chelsea: "I don't know where the story has come from I am very happy here. Andre and I have developed not only a professional partnership but over the months a friendship which will last forever. I am committed to Chelsea. There were some enquiries about me and I was flattered but I politely declined because I am very happy where I am and want to be successful with this group and this club."
ESPNTVUK on Twitter: Today is the first time in 6 years Arsene Wenger hasn't picked a Frenchman.
We hear Chelsea are about to put a story on their website denying that Roberto Di Matteo is unhappy with his role as assistant manager under Andre Villas-Boas. I'll post the link once the story is up.
There were plenty of talking points this afternoon, including Steve Bruce and Steve Kean being pushed closer to the exit door after defeats. Read our Premier League wrap here.
Robin van Persie battles with Dempsey and Hangeland
HALF TIME Mertesacker flicks a header wide of the post as the half comes to an end. Arsenal with the better openings but Fulham have acquitted themselves well.
Etuhu slides in strongly on Arteta, wins the ball, but is carded. Poor decision.
An air shot from Van Persie as Ramsey pumped the ball long to him. It would have been Van Basten-like had it gone in.
Excellent, fizzing cross from Walcott, Ramsey can't get his head on it.
Decent stat, Fulham have completed more passes (211) than Arsenal (206) though it has probably changed in the time it took to type this.
Murphy's corner is cleared but returned to him by Etuhu, the ball in is wicked but Hangeland's header loops over the bar with Szczesny a little stranded.
Super save from Szczesny as Fulham work space for Dembele. Good smart near post parry. Corner.
Ramsey crosses from the left, Senderos nods away.
A nicely worked free kick routine from Fulham, lining Riise up for a shot before Dempsey peels off the wall and is found by Murphy. Vermaelen does well to block his cross.
I can only hope the images displayed on his smartphone were above board. I'm sure they were. Seemed to provoke some hilarity from his chums.
Jack Wilshere enjoying some banter in the stands - showing his phone at someone.
Another good opening for Arsenal, Walcott gets into the area, crosses to the back post, RVP heads to Walcott but his volley on the spin flies wide.
Hangeland gets to the corner but can't direct his header on target.
Now Dembele shoots from the edge of the area and it is deflected behind for a Fulham corner.
Santos does well to rob Murphy in the area but he fails twice to cross to a team-mate. Real chance for Arsenal.
Van Persie scored from a corner on Wednesday, why is he taking them tonight?
Walcott flying at Riise again, winning a corner.
Rio Ferdinand has been on Twitter about Newcastle's penalty today at Old Trafford: "All I can say is WOW.....we should have scored at least 6 today. I don't want to go into the penalty decision or I'll get fined!"
Vermaelen is rubbing his knee but only because he got in the way of a Riise blockbuster.
Santos gets a yellow card for handball as Ruiz skipped past him. Not intentional but it did stop Ruiz streaking away. Zamora also booked for arguing. About what I'm not sure.
Van Persie's corner is swept back to him by Song, he takes it to the byline and wins another one.
Another opening for Walcott - this time he takes on the shot but hits it right at Schwarzer. Corner.
Much better from Arsenal - direct and pacey. Fulham couldn't cope, Ramsey just couldn't apply the finish.
Great run from Walcott, spinning past three players and into the box before cutting it square for the onrushing Ramsey who blazes over the bar.
Fulham are closing down RVP the instant he gets the ball. Murphy fouls him this time.
Very little atmosphere inside the Emirates.
Great turn from Zamora, rolling Vermaelen off the ball and firing wide. He wants a corner but nothing doing from the referee.
Poor pass from SAntos but Song wins the ball from Dembele, then Walcott cuts in but has his shot blocked.
Space for Santos on the left and numbers in the box but he can't beat the first man with his cross.
Senderos in quickly, and unfairly, on former team-mate Van Persie.
Walcott can't collect a return pass from Arshavin as he raced towards the area. All a bit tight in there.
Arsenal rebuild before Ramsey fires over from 30 yards.
Schwarzer fumbles the corner a little before claiming on the bounce. Song trying to dislodge the ball.
Baird stands up as RVP goes at him. Arsenal corner.

Santos puts in a cross but Senderos is up and Dempsey completes the clearance.
Fulham have tightened ranks a little now - less space for Arsenal to operate in.
Poor pass from Dempsey as he created some space for himself in the middle of the park.
Lovely move from Arsenal as Arshavin finds RVP, he tucks it inside for Ramsey and his poke towards goal is clawed away by Schwarzer.
Promising early signs for Fulham.
Decent work from Ruiz as he tries a pass for Zamora before crossing well for Dempsey - Vermaelen gets a crucial block in.
Arsenal have the ball in the net but Aarshavin has been flagged offside. Neat interchange with Van Persie but he was a yard off.
Decent run down the left from Arshavin, into the box and looking for Van Persie but Hangeland hangs out a leg.
Van Persie gets on the ball early and wins a corner.
After today's results Fulham are only two points clear of the drop zone and they have scored only 14 goals this season. Fulham haven't beaten Arsenal since 2008, and haven't won AT Arsenal, well, err, ever.
Arsenal come into the game on the back of five straight victories and of course, Robin van Persie has been instrumental in that run. He can't stop scoring in 2011. How will Fulham deal with his movement tonight?
A dramatic day in the Premier League already, Newcastle clinging on for a point at Old Trafford thanks to a dodgy penalty, Chelsea back to winning ways and Tottenham climbing to third. Let's hope this London derby can add to the tumult.
It's a rare start for Bryan Ruiz for Fulham - Damien Duff makes way. John Arne Riise is back too as Aaron Hughes drops to the bench.
Djourou comes in at right back for Koscielny while Arshavin replaces Gervinho.
Evening all. Welcome to live coverage of Arsenal's match with Fulham, which could see them pull level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea.
