Full time City book a clash with United at Wembley - the 159th derby. They just about deserved it, though they did look weary throughout. Reading just couldn't conjure anything in the final third and paid the price for not defending a corner properly.

Toure gets to the blyine and when his cross is half cleared back to him he thumps a vicious left foot volley that McCarthy palms up in the air before Tabb clears.
Changes are coming, Balotelli and Dzeko are readying themselves.
Awful passing from CIty. Vieira, especially, looks out on his feet.
Tevez wriggles free on the edge of the box and strikes but it is a yard wide of the post.
SWP does well to tackle Harte and get clear, he squares for Tevez who misses his kick and Gunnarsson clears.
City need some urgency from somewhere. Maybe from the bench.
Richards goes through the back of McAnuff.

Off the line! Tabb on the back post nods clear after a flick on from Lescott at the near following a corner.
We begin again...
There's no way through for Carlos Tevez.
Half time A poor half but City still had enough chances to score. Mancini will demand more during the interval, while Brian McDermott will simply ask for more of the same from his team.
Silva now tries an effort from outside the box but shanks it horribly. Reading's fans rejoice.

How one footed is Silva? Tevez's free kick is cleared and he tries to mee the bouncing ball with a right footed shot but misses the ball completely, and dribbles it out of play with his left.
Another free kick for City, 35 yards out.
Lee Probert is coming under fire from both sets of fans here. He's too quick with his whistle for my liking.
