2nd Leg: 4 - 3 (Agg)
That's all we've got time for tonight folks, but be sure to join us again for Tottenham v AC Milan tomorrow. Should be a cracker.
Apparently Wenger was involved in a furious bust up in the tunnel, make sure you check out ESPNsoccernet out later for his post-match reaction.
Barcelona 3-1 Arsenal. (Barca win 4-3 on aggregate. A relentless performance from Barca but Arsenal fans must be stunned at just how big the gap in quality was. Many things conspired against them, especially Van Persie's unfair dismissal. But they had no shots on goal - something that is incredibly disappointing. 24% possession as well shows just how dominant Barca were. Pep Guardiola's side take a deserved place in the next round.
It's all over...
Afellay and Iniesta have it right on the edge of the box, just where Arsenal fon't dant the ball to be.
Messi now at walking pace just keeping the ball.
Wenger urging his players to get forward but a long abll towards Bendtner is easily dealt with.
Make that frustrated ball-chasing.
Arsenal now back in their familar role of ball-chasing.
Arsenal at least finally have the ball. Four minutes of added time to play.
Arsenal with a throw-in on the halfway line.
Maxwell on for Adriano.
But Clichy is back and puts in a good tackle.
Barca still looking to kill off the game and Alves is again away...
Keita on for Mascherano.
I think Mascherano hurt himself in that challenge as he's going off.
And I must say, it was a terrible first touch by Bendtner.
Bendtner was clean through after being played in by Wilshere, but Mascherano recovered to make a desperate recovering tackle. That chance came from nowhere!
Alves slides one wide having been played through by Pedro.
Arsenal chasing shadows, they are finding it impossible to win the ball back.
Almunia wants more frustrates Barca. This time preventing Afellay from rubbing salt into the wounds after a brilliant exchange between Messi and Iniesta.
Iniesta with a beautifully crafted through ball towards Alves. But Djourou tackles back.
Afellay shows a great turn of pace to get away from Djourou, but the Gunners defender does well to recover and does enough to put the Dutchman off his shot.
Robin van Persie receives his marching orders after kicking the ball away.
Afellay on for Villa.
Almunia yet again denies Messi, the Arsenal goalkeeper has been excellent.
Arsenal have to take a chance, just one goal will be enough to win this tie. Yes, that is certainly easier said than done.
Wilshere fouls Xavi and Barca again just happy to knock the ball across the pitch and patiently probe.
Almunia saves well from Messi, who unleashed a shot after closing in from the right.
Bendtner on for Fabregas, who has been utterly anonymous.
But Arshavin plays it through to Fabregas in an offside position.
Arsenal stringing a few passes together for the first time in a while.
Sagna down Arsenal's right and Diaby advances into the box. But Valdes is down to smother the ball at his feet.
Messi fouls Koscielny, who takes out Villa on his way down. But it's an Arsenal free-kick.
Arshavin on for Rosicky.
Koscielny can probably think himself a tad lucky to still be on the pitch. There's one, small positive for Arsenal to take out of the current situation.
So, Barcelona going through as things stand - they are 4-3 up on aggregate and on the balance of play in this game, they are pretty deserving leaders.
Barcelona 3-1 Arsenal. He puts it into the bottom right corner and Almunia didn't even dive.
Messi steps up...
Koscielny brings down Pedro. The wheels are falling off for Arsenal.
Penalty to Barcelona!
Barcelona 2-1 Arsenal. Iniesta slalomed through three players on the edge of the boxand passed it to Villa, who cushioned it into the captain's path. Xavi then finished the move off with the aid of a deflection off Sagna.
GOAL Xavi has scored. Iniesta deserves a portion of credit though.
Messi peels away to the back posy but is penalised for controlling the ball with his arm.
The Arsenal substitute goalkeeper has made three excellent stops now, with Villa bearing down on him each time.
Almunia thwarts Villa again!
Remember, Arsenal are going through as things stand. Barcelona need to score.
Barca trying to pass their way into the net at the moment, they need to be a bit more decisive when inside the box.
Good block from Djourou to prevent Messi's effort going goalwards.
I have no idea what Clichy was doing there, trying to dribble around his own area and then failing to clear with his unfavoured right foot.
Almunia just took a blow to the head from Pedro. How many Arsenal goalkeepers are Barca planning to injure...
The Blaugranas wave comes back at the Gunners and the ball drops to Alves in the box, who skies his shot high over the crossbar.
Arsenal were four against four on the attack for a moment but Diaby couldn't engineer a chance.
Adriano fizzes one across goal and Almunia tips it away for a throw-in.
What an incredible five minutes. The game has really sparked into life. But can Arsenal do what Inter did last year and advance at the Nou Camp with a man sent off.
Another great save from Almunia. Again from Villa, who was smothered by the Spanish goalkeeper.
A very contentious red and now Arsenal have their backs against the wall.
It's for kicking the ball away. He was put in with a ball over the top and was ruled offside, but finished the chance after the whistle had gone. A touch unfair I think really.
Van Persie is off!
Comical defending for that Arsenal goal, Maxwell, Abidal and Busquets all jumped into each other and it came off the midfielder.
Villa clean through and Almunia does superbly to block the ball at his feet. Great save.
Barcelona 1-1 Arsenal. The emergency centre-back heads through his own goal from ansri's corner, under pressure from Diaby.
GOAL Busquets own goal.
Nasri does well to break down the right and with Mascherano, Abidal and Alves all around him, he wins a corner.
Barca have continued where they left off at the end of the first half.
However, as per usual, Barca have won it back and begin to pass it around at leisure again.
Mascherano searches for Xavi but it's intercepted.
Abidal in space in the left and he's won another corner off Djourou.
Barcelona corner after Clichy stops the Argentine superstar from getting a shot away.
Great turn from Diaby to escape a trio of Barca midfielders, but the Catalans break at pace with Messi.
Cesc Fabregas looks dejected after his mistake allowed Barca to open the scoring
Sloppy pass from Adriano but Xavi has it back and searches for Villa. Slightly overhit though.
Szczesny may have ruptured tendons in his hand - if that's the case he will be out for the season.
So, as things stand, Barca going through on away goals. An Arsenal goal would really set the tie alight, but it's difficult to see where it's going to come from.
And we're off for the second period...
Arsenal touched the ball just 41 times in Braca's half in the first 45, while the Catalans had 310 touches in the Gunners' half. Can Wenger's side change that? Let's find out.

Barca goalscorer Lionel Messi battles for the ball with Abou Diaby.
Half-time. Barca 1-0 Arsenal. Though they created few clear-cut chances, Barca enjoyed unbelieveable levels of possession. It has to be a different game from the Gunners in the second half - they must attack if they are to advance.
Well well, an uphill battle now for Arsenal.
Barcelona 1-0 Arsenal. Suicidal pass from Fabregas on the edge of the box, Iniesta played in Messi, who lifted it over Almunia with one beautiful touch, before volleying it in with his second. Wonderful finish.
GOAL Messi. Lovely finish.
Iniesta in oodles of space. He releases Messi down the right, who cuts in past Clichy and fires one straight down Almunia's throat. Poor finish from the world's bets player.
Abidal grabbed the Dutchman's throat before, that's why he was so irate.
Van Persie with a petulant push on Alves and he needs to calm down.
Five minutes of stoppage time at the end of the fist half.
Wilshere looks like he's going to be okay, it was a stong but fair challenge from Mascherano.
Handbags now, Van Persie not looking impressed and there's a bit of a kerfuffle in the middle of the pitch.
Mascherano with a crunching challenge on Wilshere and he is down, looking in some pain.
Arsenal corner now after some excellent work from Van Persie, pretty much the first time he has touched the ball in this half.
Looking back at the penalty claim for Messi, we're all in agreement at Soccernet HQ that it should have been a pen.
The referee stops the game with Abidal on the turf in pain after a clash with Rosicky. No foul though.
Abidal comes storming through the middle and Messi finds him with the through-ball but unsurprisingly, the Frenchman doesn't seem to know what to do with it, bearing down on goal.
Stats: 8 - Manuel Almunia has conceded eight goals in 250 minutes of football against Barca for the Gunners.
Clichy penalised for a late tackle on Alves on the right touchline.
Pretty much the entitre match has been played out in Arsenal's half, it's rare that the Gunners see so little of the ball.
Messi hits it straight into the wall.
Late challenge from Wilshere gives Barca a free kick about 30 yards out.
It was a cross-cum-shot from a tight angle and Almunia didn't seem to have any idea what was going on.
Adriano smashes the post.
Messi tiptoes through again but once Djourou does well once more to use his power to force Messi off the ball.
Adriano in plenty of space on the left wing but his cross was very poor, played into a space where their simply weren't any Barca players.
Villa in behind Arsenal but a tame left-foot shot fails to trouble Almunia. Djourou did well to put some pressire on him.
Messi fouled by Diaby on the edge of the box, but the ref shakes his head despite being stood right in front of the incident.
Messi skips past Djourou and Koscienly but the former does well to intercept just as the Barca star was about to pull the trigger.
Pedro and Adriano combine down the left and Alves again making an incisive run.
That's two of the Gunners four defenders on a yellow, not a great position for Wenger's side to be in.
Javier Mascherano and Jack Wilshere battle for possession
Strike from Pedro, curled over the bar. A wonderful first touch from Messi to set the opportunity up, he took the ball away from Fabregas with ease.
Messi crunched by Van Persie and sandwiched into Koscielny. Ouch.
Barca seem to be coming down this right-hand side most of the time, have they identified Clichy as a weak link?
Alves away again down the right, he looks for Villa with the cross but overcooks it.
But he followed through a little bit. Quite nasy that from Alves. Wilshere got all up in his face afterwards, he was unimpressed.
Alves goes through the back of Nasri but he certainly took all of the ball.
Arsenal doing well to close high up the pitch but it's opened up a lot of space in their midfield.
I just read that back and let's face it. They probably aren't too likely to panic.
Messi hasn't really seen enough of the ball for Barca's liking so far. You just wonder how long it will be before Barca start to panic that they haven't yet scored.
Diaby with the ball deep in Barca territory. He passes it to Nasri out right, who is impressively shepherded out by Adriano.
Villa does well to win the ball back and the ball is played over the top to Pedro, who is offside.
Almunia has only played three games since September, all against lower league opposition in the FA Cup. Reckon Barca will be trying to test him early on?!
Almunia on for Szczesny.
Szczesny looks distraught as he wanders off, I reckon it must be a dislocated finger.
Wenger wandering down the touchline to assess the damage. Almunia is coming on.
And promptly rolls the ball out. He looks in some discomfort, it looks like his finger bent back when he collected the shot.
Dani Alves smashes one from 35 yards out and Szczesny does well to hold onto it.
Not a great place to play 75 minutes on a booking, the Nou Camp.
Koscielny booked for the challenge.

Diaby fouls Xavi and Barca have a free-kick in midfield.
Sagna and Rosicky bring Arsenal forward and the Gunners now keeping possession. Nasri again looking to peel away but he's offside this time.
Sorry, no he doesn't. Offside - Nasri did well to step out. Honestly.
Alves escapes the offside trap...
Iniesta given acres of space in midfield to advance with the ball and he looks for the one-two with Villa but the striker fails to find his team-mate.

Barca fans baying for his blood, but no action from the ref.
Xavi cleaned out by Clichy on the near touchline.
Rosicky gets Arsenal's first touch on the ball, but Adriano wins it straight back.
Fingers crossed for a mouthwatering contest.
And we're off...

Fabregas and Xavi in the middle to toss with the referee.
Did anyone else used to think that the 'Champions' at the end of that official song said 'Lasagne'? Just me then.

A Barcelona fan holds up a sign welcoming Cesc Fabregas back to the Nou Camp.
Stats: 2 - This is only the second time that Abidal & Busquets have started together in the centre of defence.
One positive for Arsenal is that Barca's defence has been broken up by the suspension to Pique and injury to Puyol. Abidal and Busquets are the rather unfamiliar central defensive pairing for the Catalans, with Adriano playing left back.
Robin van Persie and Cesc Fabregas START for Arsenal. I think we all knew that was going to happen really...
