Florent Malouda wastes the best chance of the match! A good burst from Torres, who brings play forward before feeding Malouda. The Frenchman tees up Kalou, who lays it back to Malouda. Ten yards from goal, Malouda scuffs his shot and rolls harmlessly into the arms of Hart.

Frank Lampard is released by Ramires and through on goal he forces a strong save from Hart. The flag was raised, so it wouldn't have counted, but it was impressive goalkeeping.
A fine run from Torres, as he brushes off several challenges to reach the touchline. He cuts back towards Kalou, who is beaten to the ball by the City defence.
A waste from Kolarov, as he attempts a shot from a ridiculous distance and it's easily defended by Chelsea.

Chelsea are claiming a penalty against Joleon Lescott, Kalou may have a point. Kalou's cross struck Lescott's arm, but it was from very close quarters. They've been given in the past.

This afternoon is the tail of two misfiring strikers. The £50m Fernando Torres and the £27m Edin Dzeko have scored a grand total of zero Premier League goals between them since their high-profile January transfers.
