United have a corner, but it should of been a third goal. With Stoke throwing bodies forward, Hernandez breaks. He has two men in support, but he can't find either and Delap intercepts.
Can Stoke find another equaliser? A crushing blow for the Potters after they worked so hard to get back into the match.

GOAL What a goal by Tuncay! Scholes gave away possession to Kenwyne Jones, who found Tuncay wide on the right. He took the ball inside Evra, before unleashing an unstoppable left-foot drive into the top corner and beyond Van der Sar. Stunning.

A little dip in the intensity in the last few minutes, United doing a very professional job of seeing this one out.
Stoke free kick, taken short to Etherington, who over hits his cross and it's goal kick.
Berbatov attempts an audacious shot from the corner of the box, he slices it well wide.
Vidic beats Jones in the air once more to head clear, he's been too good for the Stoke striker.
Stoke are really struggling to create any chances. You sense if they are to find a goal, it will be from a set piece.
A thundering break for United, Berbatov finding Hernandez at the back post with a sublime cross, the Mexican connects with his volley excellently, but on the stretch he can only send it beyond the far post.
Again the visitor's handle the threat comfortably, great defending.

United haven't seen much of the ball in the second half, Stoke doing a good job, but they haven't tested Van der Sar.
Penalty claims, again from Evra! Some excellent play between Berbatov and Hernandez, the Bulgarian finding Evra on the left. He drills a cross towards goal, it strikes the arm of Huth, but their is little the centre back can do about it.
The Stoke fans have their wish and on come Tuncay. Can he provide the spark to ignite their comeback?

Marc Wilson is carded for a cynical trip on Paul Scholes, a silly booking to pick up.
Stoke look like they are running out of ideas at the moment, they can't break down the visitor's defence.
Walters holds up the ball, and looks to find Jones. His pass is behind his strike partner and those two haven't combined well all afternoon.
And as I type Tuncay is sent to warm up by Pulis. The Turkey man could be imminent.

Stoke are matching United stride for stride, they very unfortunate not to be level in this match.
Patrice Evra is incensed to have not been awarded a penalty! United break and Nani looks for the full back, who had made a charge through the middle. Nani's pass is poor, but off the ball Delap seems to barge down Evra. Slightly fortunate there, Stoke.
Stoke are trying to put pressure on United here, penning them back with a series of throw ins.
Etherington tries to attack down the left, but he's tackled and United break with Evra. Hernandez makes a run into plenty of space but Evra doesn't see him, and his final ball is poor.
United have dealt with the threat posed by Jones admirably. Vidic and Ferdinand have been very commanding.
Danny Collins is in the book for a strong tackle on Nani, who makes a lot of it, but the yellow card is justified.
Pennant's delivery is good, Walters flicks it on but Shawcross can't direct his volley goalwards.
The throw is a bad one from Delap, but they have a free kick after a foul on Ryan Shawcross.

Can Stoke bring themselves back into this one? Gary Neville did not look happy to be coming off and communicated that point in no uncertain terms.

Evra powers a header at goal from the corner, but it's high and wide, a good effort.
Berbatov sneaks beyond the Stoke backline, gets to the byline where he squeezes a pass past Sorensen, and Faye puts the ball behind.
Gary Neville is a very lucky boy! Etherington dances past the veteran, who hacks him down and somehow escapes a second booking! Very poor refereeing.
Nearly a disaster for Stoke! Sorensen clears a backpass straight into Javier Hernandez, luckily the deflection clears the crossbar!
Paul Scholes, suprise, suprise, is in the book. Deservedly so for a late lunge on Pennant.
Delap slings the ball into the penalty area, Jones battles with Vidic, but no one can claim the loose ball.
Again United clear, but only for a throw...

It really was a wonderful finish from Hernandez, innovative and lethal.

United will be delighted to have somehow taken the lead in this match, Stoke had made a very solid start.

Neither side has managed a sustained period of possession so far in this frantic opening 20 minutes.
Huth connects with the header, but no one is there to finish. Stoke are looking dangerous.

United earn their first corner and it's easily cleared by Stoke's giant defence.
Van der Sar scampers out of his goal to clear a through ball, but only finds Rory Delap. The Irishman composes himself and attempts a wonder goal, only to see if sail wide.
The pace of the game seems to have settled after that early flurry, the first goal will be crucial here.
Berbatov and Hernandez are showing signs of developing an understanding up front for United, linking up to good effect so far.
A fantastic start here, both teams are clearly up for this one.
United clear the corner and spring foward, Berbatov feeds Nani and it's three-on-three. The winger clips a cross to Hernandez at the backpost, but it's slightly over hit, and the Mexican can't find Berbatov with his header.
