    Both teams really need a victory today. Everton need a win to avoid there worst start to a Premier League season for over a decade, and Aston Villa need a win to ease the sense of crisis that has descended over the club.


    For Everton, Jermaine Beckford retains his place as the lone striker, and he'll be backed up by a midfield containing Arteta, Fellaini, Pienaar, Cahill and Jack Rodwell.


    For Aston Villa, their only summer signing Stephen Ireland has injured himself in the warm-up and has been replaced by Nigel Reo-Coker in the Villa midfield.


    The most played fixture in English top-flight history takes place at Villa Park this afternoon, with Aston Villa taking on Everton.
