Kolo Toure charges towards the box but flicks the ball through to the keeper instead of finding a team mate. Instead, that is that and one or two boos ring out as Arsenal stutter to a disappointing 0-0 draw with Fenerbahce. They weren't quite at it tonight and Fener battled hard for their point.
It's just not happening for Arsenal now. No way through at all.
Everyone behind the ball for Fener.
Four minutes to be added...
Last chance saloon for Arsenal, as Boral returns.
Boral is up.
Shameless time-wasting from Boral, who goes down like he's been pinned by a sniper. arsenal play on, lose possession, then Semih (of the stray elbow fame) has a right go at Clichy for continuing. Cheeky.
Giggs has pulled Man United level against Celtic.
Fener fans still having a right old ding-dong in the corner. They're loving this.
Song is coming on for Silvestre. I wouldn't be surprised if he's broken his nose. It looks nasty.
Yep, Semih flailed his arm and caught an elbow right on Silvestre's neb. A certain red card if any of our illustrious officials had spotted it.
Silvestre is down after a whack in the face from the ever-irritable Semih. A stray arm it certainly was, and possibly deliberate. Nasty.
A decent strike from Toure, who has been excellent down the right flank, but it was always veering away from goal.
Diaby looks to take on Gonul but can't get past the first obstacle, namely Lugano. Fener can smell a point here...
Fenerbahce win a corner after Boral charges down the left. Chance to get the big men forward...
Fab looks for Nasri, who claims a corner off Vederson but is denied by the ref.
Nasri's shot is blocked, but as he regains possession his cross is met by no Arsenal player in the box, again.
Cracking ball to the near post from Semih and Arsenal lucky to clear their lines, then RVP gets carded for a sliding tackle on Lugano, who gives the striker an ear bashing.
Van Persie fires it in and Semih's flick goes marginally over the bar. The corner comes out to Denilson but his shot is poor. Boring boring Arsenal.
Toure gets round Vederson after a lovely ball from Fabregas. Free-kick wide right for the Gunners.
Volkan comes ouot to claim the corner. Poor all round.
There just never seems to be anyone in the box when Arsenal cross. Again a good delivery goes in but no-one is there. They win a corner at least.
Fener change, Josico is on and Maldondo is off, even though Roberto Carlos is wandering over to the bench injured. Vederson comes on for him eventually.
Vela and Nasri combine but the Frenchman's shot was a little bit massively rubbish.
Still no more goals at Parkhead, though Celtic have just cleared one off the line.
RVP is down holding his face, he got a boot from Lugano, but play carried on and Vela's tasty looking centre was met by Dracena.
Arsenal really don't look bothered about scoring here. First Diaby fails to attack space in the box, then when he does do well and gets towards goal he tries to square for RVP who was never going to get it.
Silvestre brings down Smih and Carlos will swing in ... an AWFUL free kick. My word that was poor.
Clichy gets round the back and stands up a lovely cross fior RVP. His header is pathetic. Boooo....
The changes seem to have sparked Toure to life as he churns in two crosses from the right. Volkan is out to catch, yes you read that right, catch his cross.
Arsenal changes: Diaby and Vela on, Ramsey and Bendtner off.
Fener change, Kazim-Richards is off and Ali Bilgin is on.
Man down! Bendtner has smashed one right into Gokhan's pods. One to make your eyes water....
A poor show all round from Nasri. First he handballs it, then loses possession and crashes into Guiza to hand Fener a free kick.
Denilson wastes another decent chunk of possession. The Emirates is starting to get restless.
Clichy fires in a low cross but Semih whacks clear.
More work in and around the box from Arsenal but Fener sticking to their task so far.
Carlos curls one into the box, half cross half shot then Fabregas wastes a good opportunity to break with a unusually slack pass.
Bendtner gets to the byline and dinks a lovely ball in for van Persie to nod goalwards, only problem was a blatant shove in the back of Roberto Carlos from the Dutchman.
More urgency from both sides at the start of the half, and a better game in prospect.
Fener break and Semih's ball to Boral really should have brought Fabianski out to clear up but he stopped on his line, then Boral elects to shoot when he had team-mates charging into the box to support him. Football definitely not the winner on that occasion.
Toure floats one and Volkan does his Monsiuer Flappy routine to turn it over for a corner.
An awful tackle from Lugano hauls down RVP. A much deserved yellow card and a dangerous free-kick for Arsenal to come.
We begin again...
Half-time. Plenty of chances for Arsenal but no goal, Fener's resistance growing more stubborn as the game wore on. See you in 15 minutes.
After a spell of sparring Clichy runs at Gonul, lays off to Denilson, Carlos falls over the shot and Volkan has to slide out to get to the ball ahead of Bendtner.
A bit too neat again from Arsenal, Bendtner trying to thread the ball through the eye of a needle for the Fab man.
Guiza goes down under Djourou's challenge and gets the foul. The Arsenal centre-half has a booking already don't forget....
Arsenal running out of ideas a little as the half draws to a close. More urgency needed.
Kiev are beating Porto 1-0 in the group's other game. Milevskiy has got the goal.
Great defending by Djourou as Guiza looked to break clear.
This keeper is a right drama queen! Nasri tries to curl one and Volkan flings himself to his right to parry it when, in truth, he probably could have caught it standing still.
Another promising break from Fener but Gonul's cross is cleared by Silvestre.
Fener's yellow fans still making a racket in the corner. No noise from the Gunner boys as yet .... just like old times at Highbury then eh?
Ugur Boral is given plenty of time to pick out a pass and he finds Carlos whose cross is cleared by Fabregas, then Gonul fires one in which Fabianski does well to hold on to.
Now Volkan flaps dramatically from Denilson's free-kick when he could easily have a) caught it or b) let it go behind for a goal kick. Nutter.
It was a save you know, Volkan has somehow got fingertips to it, great goalkeeping!
RVP has hit the bar! Brilliant ball in from Ramsey, RVP cuts inside Lugano and from seven yards hits the bar!
Guiza squirts a shot towards goal after Roberto Carlos does a Delap from the right flank.
Kazim-Richards goes down far too easily after a tap from RVP. Fener free-kick, wide on the right. Wasted by being taken short. Aragones does his nut on the bench.
A lovely one-two between RVP and Bendtner ends with a looped cross to the back stick and a Gonul header behind for an Arsenal corner.
Denilson pops one in from 35 yards but it flies well, well wide.
More pressing from Arsenal as Fener are happy to soak up pressure. Its only a matter of time before an Arsenal opener if they carry on like this mind...
Carlos, the old warhorse, has a go from distance, a la Le Tournoi in 1998 but his powers must be fading because that was weak.
Neat interchange between Fabregas and Bendtner but the latter's cross is behind Ramsey and the Turks come clear...
Djourou gets a yellow after jumping in on Semih. His first real challenge of the evening but the studs were up...
Fener break as the corner is cleared, but Maldondo is muscled off the ball by Ramsey and Arsenal are off again....
RVP whacked it in to the near post and Roberto Carlos gets his bald napper on it to divert it behind for a corner.
Sahin gets a yellow card to match his shirt after a naughty little handball. RVP is over the free-kick, 25 yards out and to the right of goal.
Del Piero has put Juve 1-0 against Real Madrid too. Its raining goals in the Champions League! Though not at the Emirates. Yet.
Scott McDonald has lifted a lovely lob over Ben Foster to give Celtic the lead against Manchester United.
Another great chance! Nasri dinks into the box, Fabregas touches on and though Volkan gets a hand he hits it right into RVP's path but Dracena gets in a vital block in on the line! Corner.
Mutu has put Fiorentina 1-0 up against Bayern Munich.
First big chance as RVP gets down the channel, he crosses and Gonul flicks out of immediate danger, then Nasri fluffs his first touch as looked to slot home the rebound.
Fabregas spreads it wide to Nasri but his cross is too high for Bendtner. Fener sitting far too deep early on though.
Ramsey gets the ball on the right edge of the box, sells Roberto Carlos a dummy and flings one in but Volkan holds on.
Toure at right-back for Arsenal tonight by the way, Djourou at centre-half with Silvestre.
A poor ball from Fabregas allows Guiza to break, Kazim-Richards gives it to right-back Gonul but his cross is weak and the chance is lost, much to Fab's relief.
Keeps is still down, RVP gives his right boot a rub and gets on with it.
Great move from Arsenal and a lovely flick over the top from Fabregas. RVP gets there ahead of keeper Volkan but his right foot volley screws wide.
Fenerbahce's first attack causes a few jitters in Arsenal's penalty area after a game of head tennis. Don't forget they conceded four in their last game here - that astonishing 4-4 draw with Spurs.
Fener haven't had a kick yet. Kolo Toure bursting past two defenders there but eventually being blocked out of it by Lugano.
There is a sea of bouncing yellow shirts in the corner of the Emirates, and plenty of those Fenerbahce fans will live in north London I'll wager, given its big Turkish population.
Ooh, cheeky trip on Denilson by Roberto Carlos and Arsenal have an early free kick. Van Persie swings it in but Dracena clears.
Fenerbahce: Demirel, Gonul, Edu Dracena, Lugano,
Roberto Carlos, Maldonado, Sahin, Boral, Kazim-Richards, Senturk and Guiza. Subs from: Babacan, Wederson, Yilmaz, Josico, Bilgin, Cakmak and Deivid.
Here's the Arsenal team: Fabianski, Toure, Djourou, Silvestre, Clichy, Ramsey, Fabregas, Denilson, Nasri, Bendtner and Van Persie. Subs from: Mannone, Diaby, Sagna, Vela, Song Billong, Wilshere and Gibbs.
Fenerbahce are bottom of Group G at the half-way stage with just one measly point from three games. If they are to have any hope of qualifying they need something from this evening - probably three points.
The norrfff Laaaahndaanas are not without their problems though and Arsene Wenger has been hogging the headlines since their defeat at Stoke, saying The Potters deliberately tried to maim Adebayor, Sagna and Walcott - all of whom suffered nasty injuries and are missing tonight.
Welcome one and all to live coverage of this evening's Group G clash between Arsenal and Fenerbahce. The Gunners thumped the Turkish outfit 5-2 in the Sukru Saracoglu last month, so how many might they rack up tonight......?
Join us at 1945 BST to see if Arsenal can hand Fenerbahce another thrashing in the Champions League.
