Kiev Olympic Stadium, Kiev, Ukraine
Job done for United. Their 100% record is maintained and they're only a point away from the next round. A classy performance from the visitors which leaves them well out infront in group F.
FULL-TIME: DYNAMO KIEV 2-4 MANCHESTER UNITED
United could easily have had 7 here. But they're well on their way to qualification with this resounding win.
That's 7-0 to Arsenal now. Ouch!
Nani dances his way around the Kiev defence and is halted by Shovkovskiy who throws himself at the tricky Portuguese's feet.
Chances at either end in the closing stages make for a frantic finish. United could have 7, Kiev could have 5.
Kuszczak is forced into making an important save from Rincon on the turn. He was stretching and couldn't get enough power on it to steer it beyond the keeper.
Ronaldo also tries his luck from similar range and the keeper this time blocks the danger with his legs.
Rooney gets another strike on goal. Low and on the turn but Shovkovskiy gets down quickly to deny him.
Danny Simpson is also given a rare runout with a tired Ryan Giggs making way.
And picking the ball out of the net is the Dutchman's last act of the game. He's carrying a knock and United take no chances with Kuszczak coming on between the sticks.
United's lead is reduced again thanks to a stunning low shot from BANGOURA on the edge of the box. Van der Sar had no chance.
DYNAMO KIEV 2-4 MANCHESTER UNITED
Kiev have lost the spark that threatened to bring them back into the game. It only lasted for around 15 minutes at the start of the half and they've lost all confidence now.
Some disturbance in the crowd as some smoke fireworks are let off. No danger it seems as United boss matters on the field.
The visitors can afford to take their foot off the gas somewhat now. Kiev are a beaten side and United will stay top of the group.
Change for United and Tevez makes way for Nani.
United may not have deserved the penalty which didn't look purposeful at all, but they certainly merit the 4-1 scoreline. 20 minutes to go and they're cruising.
It was a harsh decision to award the penalty. After confusion with the linesman over whether the handball from Gavrancic was in or out of the box, RONALDO dispatches the spot-kick.
GOAL: DYNAMO KIEV 1-4 MANCHESTER UNITED
PENALTY: MANCHESTER UNITED
Ferdinand makes a wonderful recovery to get O'Shea out of jail after a poor backwards header. Bangoura chased the loose ball but Ferdinand smothers him out superbly.
Another corner for Kiev and another header from Rincon. He beat his marker once again and only narrowly missed the target. Good spell this for Kiev.
Back come Kiev and Milevsky is hauled down by Vidic in the box in what looked to be a nailed on penalty. The referee's having none of it though and Man United are awarded a free-kick. Bizarre decision.
Ronaldo gives the visitors some respite as he charges upfield on a United counter, Kiev hold firm and make the block from Giggs' shot.
Three consecutive corners are nervously defended by United who scramble to clear their lines.
Substitute Belkevich is starting to pull the strings for Kiev now and the hosts are enjoying a decent spell of pressure.
United are on top here too, although Kiev go close with Correa who bends a free-kick around the wall and into the side netting. Van der Sar scramble across but looked to have it covered.
Make that 6-0 to Arsenal. The Gunners are running riot in London.
Update from the Emirates, apologies for the irregularity of it but it's now Arsenal 5-0 Slavia Prague.
United go up the other end and almost put the ganme beyond doubt. The loose ball drops to Tevez five yards outside the area and the Argentine is allowed all the time in the world to get his shot away. It's a nice height for the keeper though and he palms away to safety.
Great chance for Rincon and United escape. He rose well to flick on Gusev's cross and it drops narrowly wide. This game's not done yet!
It's worth mentioning that Anderson is having a wonderful game. A string of rangey passing and forward breaks are causing havoc for the home side.
Sublime move from United as Rooney and Tevez combine to find Anderson who volleys against the post. Shovkoskiy fell to ground slowly and United could have been 4-1 up.
Gusev goals for glory from 25 yards out on the right. He came across the ball slightly and it drifted well wide. Better invention from the hosts though.
Neat football again from United as Rooney whips in a teasing pass that is well defended by Gavrancic. Ronaldo was lurking but it didn't quite reach him.
Hope you enjoyed the first-half goalfest. We're ready for more of the same in the second half.
HALF-TIME: DYNAMO KIEV 1-3 MANCHESTER UNITED
United certainly do and they've exploited it for all it's worth. Rooney crashes a shot over the bar after some more stand-offish defending.
Kiev's defending has been shocking, truly woeful, shambolic - you get the idea?
Just when United needed a response, Giggs and Ronaldo combined exquisitely to put Kiev to the sword.
Sumptuous cross from Ryan Giggs picks out CRISTIANO RONALDO who leaps well to head back across the keeper and into the corner. Stunning move capped off superbly by the Portuguese.
GOAL: DYNAMO KIEV 1-3 MANCHESTER UNITED
Great pace about United when they break. Tevez bursts down the left but is well watched and tackled by Ghioane.
United need to settle the nerves again now. They were embarrassingly dominant for 30 minutes, but they've gifted Kiev a goal and the game is open once more.
The home side are lifted after scoring the first goal by any side against Man United this season.
It's been their only chance of the half but it's given the home side some hope. Van der Sar was fuming with his defenders for the shambolic marking. Game on.
DIOGO RINCON punishes some awful marking to head Kiev back into the match. He was left completely unmarked at the back post and nodded back across goal through a crowd of bodies.
GOAL: DYNAMO KIEV 1-2 MANCHESTER UNITED
Diakhate gets his name taken for a nasty bodycheck on Tevez. He was beaten for pace and threw himself in Tevez's pass, sending the pocket rocket crashing to the deck.
The early goals have given United the license to play with more freedom and creation. Any break from the hosts is not penetrating the back line and the front three are relishing every pass. All in all, not a bad half I think you'd agree.
Rash challenge from Anderson and he's lucky not to pick up a yellow. United defend the resulting free-kick with ease.
This concrete bowl of a stadium is by no means full, despite the English champions bowling into town. The ones who are in won't be too pleased with what they've seen so far. It's men against boys out there.
More ambition from the hosts but United through O'Shea, snuff out the danger down the left-back slot.
Another goal at the Emirates at Arsenal find themselves 2-0 up.
Nothing going right for the hosts this half. United bossing proceedings with every player keen to get on the ball. Shatskikh makes a dash for goal down the left but Ferdinand gets back well and reclaims possession.
Ronaldo finds Rooney on the right-hand edge of the box and the England striker smashes a half-volley straight at Shovkovskiy who palms away to safety.
Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez are rotating neatly and dangerously and Kiev are struggling to track them.
That could well be that. This is a tremendous display from the visitors.
Simple simple football. Wes Brown surges down the right and plays in a perfect cushinoned pass for WAYNE ROONEY to poke home from close in. A lovely move and Rooney couldn't miss from there.
GOAL: DYNAMO KIEV 0-2 MANCHESTER UNITED
Good pressing from United's back line. Brown and Vidic are getting forward well and halting any threats early on.
Not much to cheer from Kiev thus far. Rincon's hopeful forray forward reaps no reward and the crowd's brief optimism subsides once more.
Ferdinand gets forward again but this time diverts his header wide. He should possibly have done better but Kiev's frailties were once again exposed.
This is an impressive start from Alex Ferguson's men. Tevez and Ronaldo look particularly lively and Kiev are struggling to stay with them.
Incidentally, that was Ferdinand's first goal for United in Europe. It was pretty easy for him in the end as he was left unchallenged to nod home.
Giggs' free-kick is powerfully headed into the back of the net from close range by RIO FERDINAND and United are rewarded for their early endeavour. Cracking start!
GOAL: DYNAMO KIEV 0-1 MANCHESTER UNITED
Bangoura and Rincon look a bit handy. Ferdinand and Vidic tidy up after a counter attack involving the two front men.
United continue to come forward and it's making for an open game. The visitors are defending high up the pitch and there's plenty of room in midfield so far.
Early goal in the other game involving a British side and it's gone to Arsenal after just five minutes. 1-0 to the Gunners.
All United in these opening stages. They're looking to seize the initiative early doors and they've got the home side pegged back in their own half.
Ronaldo looks as fresh as a daisy tonight. He starred for Portugal last week and was given a rest at the weekend but he looks in fine fettle so far.
Early strike for Bangoura that gives van der Sar a chance to get a feel of the ball. Easy save for the Dutchman.
The pitch looks in fine condition and although I mentioned earlier that it's chilly out there, many of the United players are in short-sleeve shirts.
And we're underway.
The players are in the tunnel, we're minutes away from kick-off in chilly Ukraine and the atmosphere is building.
Scholes' place in central midfield goes to John O'Shea, while the hosts are without former Tottenham striker Sergei Rebrov, who misses out with a knee injury.
Cristiano Ronaldo returns to the Manchester United starting line-up. Nemanja Vidic is also back for Sir Alex Ferguson's men, although the main news from the United camp was the absence of Paul Scholes with a knee injury picked up in training yesterday that will require a scan upon his return to Manchester tomorrow.
Manchester United have won both their group F games so far and will fancy stretching that run tonight as they face Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine. We'll bring you the whole match live as well as Rangers' match with Barcelona, what more could you need on a Champions League night?
