One of the most one-sided matches in history but Arsenal only have themselves to blame as they come away from a game in which they had 27 with only a point. Fair play to Moscow however, they rode their luck but hung on for an heroic point.
FULL TIME: ARSENAL 0-0 CSKA MOSCOW
It's hopeful stuff from Arsenal now and no way are Moscow about to give up a goal. The crossing is poor and their stubborn defending has worked a treat against Arsenal's flair.
The stands are emptying as the home support realise their time is up.
It has been an heroic effort from Moscow. They've rode their luck but will be delighted with this point.
The fourth official signals four minutes of added time. Can Moscow sneak a late winner?
It's corner flag time for Moscow and Carvalho takes it inot the corner to waste time.
The last change of the night and the shattered Fabregas comes off for Flamini. Moscow keep possession and camp in the Arsenal half.
Moscow are going to do it. The Gunners are frustrated and lunging into tackles as the game comes to a scrappy finish.
Carvalho whips in the corner and it almost flies into the Arsenal net via Henry's thigh.
A lovely run for Vagner Love brings a corner after a deflection. Love is injured and he's lifted on to the stretcher. Olic is warmed up and ready to come on.
Great save from Akinfeev. Gilberto rises unchallenged on the edge of the box and heads towards goal but the keeper makes a fine save at length.
Another change for Arsenal and van Persie comes off for Aliadiere. Can he find the breakthrough?
A dangerous free-kick for Moscow and Carvalho lines it up. But it cannons straight into the wall and clear.
If anything, Arsenal have eased up as Moscow keep the ball for a duration.
They just can't find a way through. Credit to Moscow who are standing up and defending resolutely. They are even stringing together some dangerous attacks on the counter.
Moscow regroup and get their men behind the ball and repel another attack. On the break there's spaces opening up for the Russians.
This is geting ridiculous! How has van Persie missed this chance? It was a free header, six yards out and he powers it wide. What a miss!
From all of 40 yards, Kolo Toure drives in a thunderous effort that stings the hands of Akinfeev. It wasn't likely that he'd beat him from that distance.
Change for Arsenal. Theo Walcott is brought on for for Hleb as Arsenal have 20 minutes left to find a winner.
Arsenal are hoisting the ball into the box now but each time it is easily headed clear.
Moscow are growing in confidence and start up some counter attacks of their own.
Being urged on by the crowd to shoot, Rosicky does just that and pings one from distance that ends up in the stands.
Henry leaves Semberes for dead and chips his shot over the goalkeeper from a tight angle. But it drifts past the post despite van Persie's late arrival at the back post.
Benezutzky tries his luck on another Moscow counter, but he fires high and wide over the bar.

Van Persie whips in a superb, inviting cross that narrowly evades the outstretched boot of Fabregas.
Zhirkov delivers a teasing cross across the Arsenal box that Lehmann leaps to claim. He dishes out a rolicking to Toure and his defenders for being caught sleeping.
What a chance for Moscow! Their first chance and what a warning bell for the Gunners. Wagner Love latches on to a through ball and beats Gallas with ease. His shot squirms under Lehmann but the German reacts quickest and pounces on the ball at the second attempt.
Moscow force Arsenal from right to left and then back as they continue to repel wave after wave of attacks.
Hleb cynically fells Carvalho and earns himself a booking. He can have no complaints as he stopped a clear run on goal.
Henry conducts the crowd into a roar as he takes a corner. But he wastes it. An easy take for Akinfeev and another chance goes begging.
Van Persie again escapes the clutches of the back four but can't pick out Henry who was waiting eagerly at the back post.
Van Persie drives in the resulting free-kick and Gallas diverts the ball goalwards. But it's an easy save for Akinfeev.
He rises to his feet and gingerly leaves the field temporarily.
Gilberto lands awkwardly after a heavy fall on his lower back. He could be winded but Arsenal could do without the Brazilian coming off.
Astonishingly, Arsenal have the first corner of the game. Van Persie swings it in and Henry rises first and unmarked, he directs his header well over.
Henry screams at team-mate Fabregas after the Spaniard waited with his pass and allowed Henry to be caught offside.
And we're underway for the second half.
The teams are back out on the pitch and we're set for the second half.
It's been an incredible half and despite 15 shots, Arsenal are yet to find the crucial strike to open the scoring.

We're into added time and Thierry Henry lines up a free-kick from 25 yards. But his can't control it and it sails over the bar.
Astonishing! Rosicky somehow misses an open goal after Henry rolled a pass right across the goal. A bad touch from the Czech finds the keeper who is relieved to see the ball fall into his arms and not the gaping net.
Toure tries to rectify Arsenal's scoring deficiency by arriving at the back post to try to meet Henry's deep cross. But he can't quite get there in time.
It doesn't look like it's going to be Arsenal's night. A bad miss from Henry this time as he pokes his half volley past the post. It was a lovely chipped pass from Fabregas that put him through but Arsenal are starting to look frustrated.
Gilberto lines up a left-foot drive that is well blocked.
Arsenal will be disappointed to go into the break level and without a goal. Can they nick one in the last few minutes?
CSKA make a change and it's Aldonin who comes on for Krasic who limps off with a slight knock.
Still Arsenal press forward and still Moscow hold firm. But it's not sticking up front for Moscow and the relentless attacking can continue.
Fed up of trying from close range, Henry hits one from 30 yards that is hooked wide of the goal. But at least they are trying to mix up their attacks. That's 12 attempts on goal now.
Yet another chance for van Persie and yet another miss. A superb defence-splitting pass from Hleb finds the Dutchman who slides in the meet the ball, but it trickles past the post and out for a goal kick.
An outrageous dive from Dudu after van Persie holds off the Brazilian. He goes down clutching his face after a slight shove on his chest. Poor form.
Henry is given offside for a marginal decision that would have left him with a clean run on goal. Another let-off for Moscow. How many more can they afford?
Arsenal dilly and dally on the edge of the Moscow box but they still can't find a way through this stubborn defence.
For all their efforts and endeavour, the Gunners are still without a goal. Henry tries to conjure up some magic inside the box but his cross is plucked out of the air by Akinfeev.
An incredible sequence of play as first Hleb and then Fabregas somehow miss from close range. Fabregas rounded the keeper after a neat one-two with Henry only to miss an open goal. Hleb however foolishly opted to pass rather than shoot and it prevented Arsenal taking the lead.
Great effort from Hleb. Not tempted to cross, Hleb cuts in from the right and unleashes a firm left-foot drive that forces a save from Akinfeev.
It's all Arsenal at the moment and van Persie has a tame header easily saved after Hleb's deep cross the the back post.
Carvalho whips in a tempting set-piece that runs through to Lehmann, but it couls have easily found Wagner who was unmarked in the six-yard area.
Another chance for van Persie as the Dutchman latches on to Rosicky's pass and from a tight angle he pulls it back across the area only for Akinfeev to turn it to safety.
Moscow are quick to park six players in front of the penalty area in order to repel the Arsenal attack, and so far it's working.
Arsenal have got the visitors packed in their own half, but have yet to provide the crucial finish.
What a blistering move from Arsenal. Vintage Arsenal! Rosicky played in Hleb down the right and the Brazilian squared for Henry who just clipped his effort round the wrong side of the post. Sublime move, but no end result.
Henry plays in an inviting through ball for van Persie but Ignashevich is there to tidy up.
Arsenal have had the lion's share of possession but they'll have to be attentive at the back as the Russian side look capable of springing a surprise.
Van Persie rips in a fierce drive that whistles past the post. It was a thunderous strike from 25 yards that would have given Akinfeev no chance had it been on target.
But Arsenal will have to be at their best to break down this defence. They've yet to concede in the Champions League.
Henry is flagged offside from a Fabregas pass. They seem keen to attack quickly down the middle.
Wagner and Carvalho combine well again and the latter creates a little space for himself to shoot. The dinked shot drops on to the top of the net. Lehmann had it covered.
Gallas makes an important interception as Carvalho hoists a ball over the top looking for Wagner.
A spell of posession for the Russians as the midfield quartet string together a patient build-up. But no end product becomes of the move.
Hleb drives right into the heart of the Moscow defence and tees up van Persie who balloons his shot well over with his weaker right foot.
Henry looks up for this one. He covers 60 yards to track back to make a clean tackle.
It's a predictably high-tempo start from Arsenal with both full-backs keen to push on and start an attack.
Wonderful skill and movement from Henry allows himself time to deliver a deep cross to the back post where van Persie is waiting.But the Dutchman can't get enough purchase on the header and it loops harmlessly wide.
Arsenal skipper Thierry Henry finds his way into the referee's book already with an over-enthusiastic challenge from behind on Zhirkov. He'll have to be careful for the whole match now.

It's a chilly night in North London and gloves are on display for most of the Gunners side. Not for the Moscow boys though. It's almost tropical for these hardened pros.
The teams are in and Arsenal welcome back Gael Clichy who slots in at left-back. His inclusion means Johan Djourou drops to the bench with William Gallas switching to the centre of defence. That change is the only one from the 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday.
