FULL-TIME: A deserved win for the home side. Juve were very poor, and Bayern did enough in the first half to ensure that they go in to the reverse fixture in a fortnight's time with a 100 per cent record in the Champions League group stage.
Demichelis gives away a needless free-kick. Nedved smashes the ball in to a crowded box; it is only inches from the head of Del Piero, but Kahn is able to punch clear. Surely Juve's last chance.
Poor marking from Bayern allowed Ibrahimovic to score from inside the six-yard box. It is the first goal Bayern have conceded in their new stadium.
GOAL! Emerson flicks on Del Piero's corner at the near post, and Ibrahimovic is on hand to side-foot home a volley from a couple of yards out. A glimmer of hope for the visitors.
Ze Roberto fouls Zambrotta out on the right touchline. Zambrotta takes the free-kick, curling a low cross in to the penalty area, but Juve have only four players forward and Bayern are able to clear.

Juve manage to mount a bit of pressure on the Bayern goal, but eventually the home side clear the danger.

Del Piero fires a free-kick in to the penalty area, but Demichelis, outstanding tonight, clears the danger. Corner.
Bayern prepare to make their second change of the evening.
Ismael needs some treatment after a collision with Zambrotta. He tests his knee out on the sidelines, but is soon back in the action.

Ibrahimovic concedes another foul, but again avoids a booking.
Demichelis makes a rare run forward in to the edge of the area. He lays the ball back to Makaay, but his right-foot shot flies a foot or so over Abbiati's bar.
The pace of the game has slowed considerably in the last few minutes; Bayern know they just have to play sensible football to see this game out, and Juve appear to have all-but given the match up as a bad job.
Bayern Munich have played well this evening, but the result is more down to Juventus playing so poorly.
Mutu loses Ballack and rises highest at the corner, but he plants his header well wide of the post. Goalkick.

Ballack wins his side another corner when he breaks down the left channel and plays the ball behind off the legs of Thuram.

Schweinsteiger's hopeful ball forward is horribly sliced by Chiellini as the Juve defender attempted to clear on the volley. Abbiati dives, but can't prevent the corner.

SUB: Camoranesi off, Del Piero on, for Juve. An attacking change from Cappello, as he searches for a way back in to this match.

...Makaay also seems interested in the free-kick, although Bayern have to wait whilst the referee sorts out the wall...
Free-kick to Bayern, on the edge of the Juve area after Thuram's clumsy challenge on Santa Cruz. Another good chance for Ballack...

The crowd are so much closer to the pitch in this new stadium than they were at the old Olympic Stadium, and the players must feel as though they are right under the fans' noses.
Sagnol wins a header and knocks the ball in to the area towards Makaay, but Cannavaro shows good strength to hold off the Bayern striker.
Giannichedda earns a booking for his second rash challenge inside a couple of minutes.
