Paris Saint-Germain beat Lille in Coupe de la Ligue, Monaco hit seven

Coupe de la Ligue holders Paris Saint-Germain are through to the quarterfinals after a 3-1 victory over Lille.

Lucas Moura gave PSG the lead with a penalty two minutes before half-time and then scored again in the 57th minute. Jese Rodriguez added a third while Marko Basa grabbed a late consolation for Lille.

Ligue 1 leaders Nice were knocked out by Bordeaux.

Gaetan Laborde scored twice as the three-time winners held on for a 3-2 victory at the Matmut Atlantique.

Bordeaux made a great start and were two up inside 22 minutes through Jaroslav Plasil and Laborde.

Alassane Plea halved the deficit just before half-time but Laborde netted his second in the 55th minute, and Nice could only manage an 83rd-minute penalty from Mario Balotelli in response.

It was a different story for second-placed Monaco, who thrashed Rennes 7-0.

Seventeen-year-old Kylian Mbappe scored a hat trick and Gabriel Boschilia netted twice, with Corentin Jean and a Dimitri Cavare own goal completing the scoring.

Metz's clash with Toulouse was decided by a remarkable penalty shootout after the match had ended 1-1.

Metz netted all 11 of their penalties, with goalkeeper David Oberhauser the hero after scoring his spot-kick and then saving his opposite number Mauro Goicoechea's effort.

Guingamp also defeated Lyon on penalties, although with less drama.

Nabil Fekir and Mathieu Valbuena missed for Lyon, who had twice equalised to make it 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes.

Nancy are through after a 1-0 victory over St Etienne.
