Premier Showdown - Dec 5-6

December 6, 2009

Another victory, with three correct scorelines and 13 points, means Dale Johnson is yet further in front at the top of the table. Can anyone stop him?

Looking to make an impression this weekend is Ivan Muanah.

Ivan tells Soccernet: "Hi there, I am a 29-year-old Ghanaian and a meidcal doctor by profession. I've being practicing for the past three years.

"I have been a Man United fan since 1997. I live in Kumasi were everybody is passionate about the Premier League which has overshadowed our local league here. I had my medical elective at Stoke-on-Trent in 2005. Well, lets get to business."

Business indeed.

Soccernet's Premier League Editor, Dale Johnson, and ESPNsoccernet Press Pass pundit Tommy Smyth take up the test.

They, along with the challenger, cast their eyes over weekend's top flight fixtures in England and predict how they think each game will turn out.

Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result

After the weekend's scores are in and the result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the 'Rest of the World's' tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared between those level on points.
