Yet another victory for the Rest of the World, which means our intrepid band of global challengers could finally, yes finally, be dreaming of a return to the Showdown podium next May.
It's about time, it really is.
Looking to put Dale and Tommy in their place this weekend is Steve Shear.
Steve tells Showdown: "I'm a 63-year-old exiled Geordie, I live in Maryland, USA and have a small logistics firm which specialises in furnishing and re-furnishing hotels.
"I was born under the floodlights of St James' Park and have been a Newcastle United fan all of my life. Don't know what I'd do without satellite TV which keeps me up to date on all things Premier League.
"I try hard to watch MLS, but there's nothing like 'The Prem'. I also look to ESPNsoccernet for my daily news whilst at work. Looking for Newcastle to spend a bit in January on a proven top class striker..."
For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on Press Pass' Tommy Smyth and ESPNsoccernet journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.
Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result
After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
Tommy picks up his first win of the season - and does it in style by setting a new top score for the game this season!
