Our midweek challenger Langford Munthali produced a fine display to take the points and move the Rest of the World within touching distance of Tommy Smyth.
So that means our next contestant could draw level with Tommy at the table. Picking up the baton for the ROTW is James Kennish who comes from New Zealand.
James tells us: "I'm an ex-Londoner and passionate West Ham fan - hence the prediction of a 3-0 win for us! I am 45 years young and a sales manager for a fantastic winery in the South Island. My eldest daughter was born in Chelsea, but we have a rule never to discuss footie, especially as my three daughters are all rugby mad. It would be nice to see my comments go up, especially as it would make me feel like West Ham actually won something! Cheers from sunny Wellington, New Zealand."
For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on Press Pass' Tommy Smyth and ESPN journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.
Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result
After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
Sergio Aguero scores to transform victory for Dale into victory for Tommy - the gameweek completely turns on one goal!
