Dale Johnson cruised to victory in the last round and he has opened up a six-point lead at the top with only six rounds to go. It looks like he will be reclaiming the Showdown title.
Quickfire back to back Easter rounds mean we're soon looking for our next challenger, and this time it will be Tanel Torn from Estonia!
He tells us: "I'm a 23 year old university student from Estonia and a huge supporter of Liverpool. Altough I think Kenny's tendency to buy players from English nationality is quite admirable (after all, it's an English club), it's a shame the new four haven't been quite up to the task of performing well. And altough I'm starting to miss the good old times, I believe Liverpool FC is capable of restoring the former glories!"
For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on Press Pass' Tommy Smyth and ESPNsoccernet journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.
Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result
After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total. Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
A fascinating Wednesday night of action saw correct scores and points galore and Dale sneaks home for another win by a point. Tommy's only hope of holding on to his crown is to win all five remaining gameweeks.
