Juan Mata is taking nothing for granted as Spain prepare to take on Croatia in the final Group C game at Euro 2012.

Spain can only be eliminated from the competition if they lose to Croatia, and while his side are the favourite to successfully defend the crown they won four years ago in Austria and Switzerland, Mata believes complacency is dangerous with the talent at Slaven Bilic's disposal.

"Croatia are playing very well," Mata told Marca TV. "They have very good players that I know from the Premier League. Luka Modric is dangerous and we will have to keep a close eye on him.

"We are going for the win. That is what we always do. We are in good form and looking forward to play this third game. We know the fans are enthusiastic and they expect another win.

"It's going to be very tough. Both sides will want to prove their worth."
