Sweden striker Johan Elmander has been named in Erik Hamren's 23-man squad for Euro 2012 despite concerns over his fitness.

Elmander, 31, has been struggling with a foot injury he sustained for his club Galatasary but has recovered sufficiently to be included in Sweden's final party for the tournament at Poland and Ukraine.

Goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson is also in the side after recent problems with a shoulder injury, but John Guidetti has been omitted after failing to overcome an infection. The news is a blow for the Swedes as Guidetti has been in fine form while on loan at Feyenoord from Manchester City.

Sweden begin their Euro 2012 campaign against Ukraine before meeting England and then France in Group D.

Goalkeepers: Par Hansson (Helsingborgs), Andreas Isaksson (PSV Eindhoven), Johan Wiland (Copenhagen).
