France striker Louis Saha has been impressed with the "terrific job" Laurent Blanc has done since taking the national team reins two years ago and believes Les Bleus have a good chance of winning Euro 2012.

Saha, 33, returned to the France set-up for February's friendly victory against Germany but was not included in Blanc's final squad for the European Championship.

However, the Tottenham forward will nonetheless be watching on as an avid fan of Les Bleus next month and is expecting Blanc's side to be contenders.

"I will be the first supporter of the French squad at the Euros," Saha told ESPN. "It was a tough time after the World Cup two years and Laurent Blanc has done a really terrific job since then.

"We have got some great players and I think something has happened in the last few months, the Germany result was a massive boost and they will have a chance of doing very well in the tournament."

France kick-off their Euro 2012 campaign against England on June 11 before also taking on Sweden and co-hosts Ukraine in Group D.
