After making his name with Marseille and Toulouse, Carrasso made a move to Bordeaux in 2009 and he has established himself as third-choice 'keeper with the French national team since Laurent Blanc took over as coach after the disastrous 2010 World Cup finals campaign.
Carrasso will head to Euro 2012 this summer knowing his chances of seeing any action are remote as he stands behind Hugo Lloris and Steve Mandanda in Les Bleus' pecking order, but he seems content with his lot as he insists he is not setting his sights on a move away from Bordeaux this summer.
“I play for a club that appreciates what I do and this is why there is no need for me to run for the exit door,” Carrasso says. “As for the national team, I get along great with Lloris and Mandanda and if they are ahead of me for a place in the side right now then all I can do is work hard to change that.”
