At home in the heart of the defence or in a right-back slot, Khacheridi is a performer who has made a mark in Ukraine’s Euro 2012 warm up games and he looks set to play a role in their line-up this summer.
After starting his career with the now defunct SC Olkom Melitopol club, he moved to Dynamo Kiev three years ago and has established himself as a reliable performer in the Ukrainian league. He has also played plenty of Europa League football over the last couple of seasons and was a key man in Dynamo’s lengthy run in the competition last season.
He made his full international debut against England in October 2009 and occupied the central defensive position he is said to prefer on that occasion. However, it’s safe to assume he will play anywhere this summer if it means he gets his chance to snatch a piece of the Euro 2012 spotlight.
