Elmander on track for recovery
Forward hopeful of proving fitness for Euro 2012

Johan Elmander is expected to step up his rehabilitation programme this week, in a bid to prove his fitness for Sweden at Euro 2012.
Elmander emerged as a serious doubt for this summer’s European Championship, which gets underway on June 8, when fracturing a bone in his right foot during the final day of Galatasaray’s season.
Sweden coach Erik Hamren named Elmander in his 23-man squad, but he still has to prove his fitness. The forward is expected to start running this week, which he hopes will put him on course for their Group D opener with Ukraine on June 11.
"They said I would need eight to ten weeks," he said. "I'm not great at maths, but I knew that would mean I wouldn't make it back in time."
In other Swedish injury news, Andreas Isaksson has started training following a shoulder injury.
