Arsenal start Lacazette in derby; Kane, Alli, Lloris all play for Tottenham

LONDON -- Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette was named in the starting lineup for the north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur, who selected Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris for the match at the Emirates Stadium.

Centre-back Shkodran Mustafi also returned for Arsenal, meaning Arsene Wenger could field his entire first-choice XI against Spurs.

Mustafi missed the last month with a muscle tear in his thigh but came straight back into the starting line-up at the expense of Per Mertesacker.

Lacazette started up front after being benched against Manchester City, with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez behind him.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino had fitness doubts over striker Kane, midfielder Alli and goalkeeper Lloris. Kane had been substituted late on in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace just before the international break, a game which Lloris missed entirely, while Alli withdrew from the England squad. However, all three were deemed fit to return for the derby.

Pochettino opted for Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies at wing-back, with Serge Aurier on the bench and Danny Rose not in the squad.

Lineups:

Arsenal: Petr Cech; Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi, Per Mertesacker; Hector Bellerin, Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey, Sead Kolasinac; Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette.

Tottenham: Hugo Lloris; Jan Vertonghen, Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier; Kieran Trippier, Mousa Dembele, Moussa Sissoko, Ben Davies; Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Harry Kane.
