Hull win to avoid drop zone, Swansea beat Stoke, Bournemouth thrash Boro

Ten-man Hull ensured they stayed out of the Premier League's relegation zone with a 2-0 victory against Watford at the KCOM Stadium.

Hull suffered an early blow when they lost Oumar Niasse to a red card after 25 minutes, with the striker being dismissed for a foul on M'Baye Niang.

But the hosts managed to take the lead in the 62nd minute when Lazar Markovic headed a Kamil Grosicki cross against the bar, with the ball bouncing down onto the line, before he fired in the rebound to make sure.

Sam Clucas then doubled Hull's lead 10 minutes later, controlling the ball outside the area before smashing home a fine hit from distance.

Swansea boosted their survival hopes with a first win in seven but remain in the drop zone after defeating Stoke 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea needed just 10 minutes to break the deadlock, with Gylfi Sigurdsson sending in a corner for Fernando Llorente to head home.

Stoke missed a chance to equalise from the penalty spot in the 69th minute when Marko Arnautovic blazed over, before Swansea went down the other end and made it two a minute later, with Tom Carroll's deflected shot sailing over Jack Butland and into the back of the net.

Bournemouth recorded their first win in five to inflict further misery on struggling Middlesbrough with a 4-0 victory at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth opened the scoring inside just two minutes when Josh King converted Marc Pugh's cross to net his eighth league goal in nine games, before Benik Afobe made it two 14 minutes later, poking in a loose ball after Harry Arter had regained possession.

Things got even worse for Middlesbrough when they were reduced to 10 men in the 20th minute, with Gaston Ramirez being sent off after picking up a second yellow card for a foul on Pugh.

Any hopes of a Middlesbrough comeback were further dented when Pugh got his name on the score sheet in the 65th minute, cutting inside before bending a strike into the far corner, before Charlie Daniels added a fourth five minutes later with a strike from distance.

Everton are still without an away win in three months after drawing 0-0 with West Ham at the London Stadium.

West Ham had the best chance of a quiet first half when James Collins met Manuel Lanzini's far-post delivery, only to head it wide of target.

A subdued second half also saw little action, with Lanzini going closest for West Ham when creating some space only to shoot too close to Maarten Stekelenburg.
