Paul Quinn's penalty earned East Stirling an unlikely 2-1 victory against promotion-chasing Queen's Park in the Irn-Bru Scottish Football League Championship Third Division.
Heading into the clash, many expected the hosts to earn a simple three points against second-bottom East Stirling and close the gap on top-of-the-table Rangers.
The Shire gave an early glimpse of their appetite for victory, however, as David Greenhill's strike hit the crossbar in the 23rd minute.
But Andrew Robertson gave the Spiders the lead soon after, firing past Grant Hay from 25 yards after Sean Burns laid the ball off.
The visitors hit back impressively just before the interval, though, as Greenhill drove home following Sean Kelly's header.
Yet the game's defining moment came in the 72nd minute when goalkeeper Neil Parry brought down Greenhill in the penalty area and was subsequently given a red card.
Quinn then kept his cool from the spot, beating replacement stopper Blair Lochhead.
