Forfar edge home despite scare
Forfar survived a late fightback to book their place in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup with a 3-2 win away at Nairn.
Nairn had forced the replay last weekend by coming back from three goals down and came close to repeating the feat.
Ross Campbell gave Forfar the lead four minutes before half-time with a low finish into the corner.
Gavin Swankie produced a fine clipped finish from 12 yards to make it 2-0 in the 54th minute.
Campbell grabbed his second four minutes later as he turned Swankie's cross into the net.
Connor Gethins kick-started the fightback with a curling effort from the right.
John Cameron pulled another goal back by firing into the bottom right corner from close range with two minutes left, but his side could not force a leveller this time.
