Montrose stage late turnaround
Two goals in three minutes extended Montrose's unbeaten run to three as they defeated promotion rivals Queens Park 2-1 at Hampden Park.
The home side had won their last three games and Michael Keenan's first-half strike in the area gave the Spiders a half-time lead.
But all of Queens Park's good work was undone when Leighton McIntosh scored from six yards to equalise after 73 minutes before striker Martin Boyle completed the turnaround three minutes later with a low shot past Spiders goalkeeper Neil Parry.
Montrose were then made to withstand considerable pressure as the home side pressed hard for a second, but Boyle's goal proved enough to snatch an impressive victory.
The win edges Montrose to within two points of Queens Park, who sit in second place having played two games less.
