Spiders stay second
Queen's Park solidified their position in second place with a 2-0 win at East Stirling.
The Spiders are three points ahead of third-placed Montrose in the Irn-Bru Scottish Third Division with two games in hand after the latter could only manage a 1-1 draw against Clyde.
Anthony Quinn had East Stirling goalkeeper Grant Hay at full-stretch to keep out a headed attempt after the half hour, but the visitors went ahead in the 38th minute.
Quinn left Hay with no chance on this occasion, driving Sean Burns' cross into the bottom corner.
Chances remained at a premium until Burns sent another dangerous centre into the area and Richard Miller was unfortunate enough to put the ball through his own goal.
