Dmitry Verkhovtsov's late header earned Belarus a point as they drew with Finland in their World Cup Group I qualifier in Gomel.
Verkhovtsov popped up in the 85th minute to cancel out Teemu Pukki's first-half strike for Finland.
The result means Belarus, who prop up the group, are now level with Georgia on four points, albeit having played one game more, while third-placed Finland failed to keep in touching distance of leaders Spain and second-placed France, who they trail by four points.
Belarus dominated the early stages and Niki Maenpaa was forced to make a fantastic save from Anton Putsila in the 14th minute.
However, it was the Finns who took the lead ten minutes later when Pukki drilled a right-footed shot into the net from 20 yards.
Both sides squandered chances to add to the scoring before Verkhovtsov had the last word, heading past Maenpaa from the middle of the area.
