Osasuna stormed to a comprehensive 3-0 win at home to promoted side Hercules in a one-sided match at the Reyno de Navarra.
Goals from Nacho Monreal, Lolo and Krisztian Vadocz gave the Pamplona-based side a deserved victory as Jose Antonio Camacho's men reacted positively following last weekend's dismal 4-1 defeat at Racing Santander to move up to 12th place in the table after 10 rounds of the Primera Division.
Osasuna had won just twice in the league prior to this match, but they dominated from the outset against a Hercules side lacking ideas.
The opening goal took a while to arrive, however.
It finally came five minutes before the break, following missed opportunities from Javad Nekoukam and Juanfran Torres.
Full-back Monreal scored it, when he pounced on Paco Pena's awful back-pass and fired a deflected effort past Juan Calatayud from 12 yards out.
Lolo headed a second from Patxi Punal's free-kick 10 minutes into the second half, following more poor defending from the visitors.
Cristian Hidalgo hit the bar for Hercules late on and David Trezeguet blasted over as well, but there was no way back for Esteban Vigo's side and Vadocz poked home in added time following a corner to make it three.
The Hungary midfielder dedicated the goal to team-mate Ruper, who picked up a serious injury in training earlier this week.
Osasuna are now 12th with 12 points, while Hercules sit just a point clear of the drop zone in 17th.
