Prunty sinks Stenny
Bryan Prunty`s second-half strike maintained Alloa's push for a play-off position with a 1-0 victory over struggling Stenhousemuir.
Prunty scored from six yards after 55 minutes, drilling the ball home from close range after being found by Kevin McDonald.
The goal came a few minutes after the visitors were forced into a defensive change, with Alex Williams coming on in the place of the injured William Lyle.
Alloa should have had more than one goal to show for their offensive display, with Darren Smith particularly creative despite the home side being reduced to 10 men when Scott Walker was shown a second yellow card after 40 minutes.
The visitors failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage, with Paul Quinn heading their best effort straight at home keeper Jamie Ewings.
