First-half show enough for Albion
Albion defeated Clyde 3-1 with an impressive first half display at Cliftonhill.
Goals from Christopher Boyle, Ciaran Donnelly and Chris Hamilton made the first-half scoreline a miserable one for the Clyde side, but delightful for promotion-chasing Rovers.
Boyle fired in from inside the penalty area to give Rovers the lead after a Robert Love cross after 17 minutes.
Donnelly doubled matters for Albion with a left-footed strike close in before Hamilton planted a crisp drive beyond Jordan Allen with six minutes of the opening period remaining.
Substitute Stuart Mills pulled a goal back for Clyde when he latched on to Kevin Finlayson's cross and further chances fell to Adam Strachan and John Stewart, but there were no more goals.
