Albion avoid upset
Albion saw off Highland League side Lossiemouth with a 2-0 win at Grant Park to progress to the third round of the Active Nation Scottish Cup.
The goals came at the start and the end of the match as the second-placed team in Division Three made hard work of it against the plucky non-league side.
The deadlock was broken five minutes in when a foul in the Lossiemouth penalty area gave Bobby Barr the chance to score from the penalty spot and he drilled his low effort beyond home goalkeeper Craig Masterton from 12 yards.
The visitors secured their passage into the next round with just two minutes remaining when Patrick Walker made a powerful run at the Lossie defence before making no mistake with a close-range finish for a fine individual goal.
