Northwich secured their status in the Nationwide Conference with a 2-0 victory over bottom-club Leigh RMI
Second-half goals from Peter Band and Paul Brayson secured a magnificent achievement by the club after suffering a 10 point deduction earlier in the season for entering administration.
It was Leigh who had the first real chance of the game in the 15th minute. Craig Smith`s cross was blocked by Michael Carr but soon after, Warren Peyton inswinging corner towards the far post was caught by Kristian Rogers. And just before half-time Leigh`s Nicky Allen saw his 20-yard effort rattle the crossbar.
However it was Northwich who took the lead in the 72nd minute through Band who lashed the ball into the top of the net from close range.
And they made sure of the victory six minutes later when Brayson fired home a 25-yard free-kick into the bottom corner of the net.
