Lunan back to boost Montrose
Montrose could open up a ten point gap on visitors Annan in the race for a play-off place with a win and they welcome back Paul Lunan from illness to help them achieve that goal.
Although they will be without Phil McGuire who has a knee injury.
``We played really well to defeat Elgin 4-1 last week and I want the same level of performance as well as the three points again,'' he said.
``Annan are still finding their feet under their new manager but they have good players in their squad and they could still sneak into a play-off place, especially if they pick something up here.
``They gave us a really hard afternoon down at their place last month so we have to play well to get the win.''
Annan boss Jim Chapman will include Iain Chisholm as a trialist for a second game as he looks to record his first win as manager at the sixth attempt.
Peter Watson is expected to miss out due to a thigh problem and Graeme Ramage remains out with a knock to his knee with Chapman admitting that his players are doing very little wrong.
``For the vast majority of the games I have been in charge for the players have done well,'' he said.
``It just seems that the one mistake they do make is getting punished.
``We are not far away from being a decent side and winning a tough game like this one would give us a lot of belief for the rest of the season.''
