Toulouse coach Alain Casanova expects an immediate response from his players as they look to hit back from last weekend's derby loss to Bordeaux.
TFC saw a five-match unbeaten run come to an end when they were edged out 1-0, a result that left them three points behind Ligue 1 leaders Paris St Germain.
They will have the chance to defend their top-four spot when they take on Ajaccio tomorrow, but Casanova wants to see an improved performance as much as the three points.
``I was more disappointed with the way we played against Bordeaux than I was with the result,'' he told tfc.info.
``I told the players I was disappointed and did not want to see that kind of match.
``I would rather lose by playing than win by not playing.
``We can do much better and we will do much better. I will be neither satisfied nor convinced if the players think they can win without playing.''
On paper, Ajaccio should be easy pickings for the home side.
They have not won in four league matches, including a 2-0 loss at Marseille last time out, and sit just two places above the bottom three.
Coach Alex Dupont has also demanded a better performance from his players.
``For the last two weeks my team have shown nothing short of complacency,'' he said.
``I expect a response against Toulouse.''
Suspensions will see a host of players missing from the pitch tomorrow.
Toulouse are without Steeve Yago and Serge Aurier, while Benjamin Andre, Adrian Mutu and Johan Cavalli are all banned for the visitors.
Ajaccio can at least welcome Brazilian striker Eduardo back from suspension this weekend.
