Nice boss Claude Puel has told his players that three points at Troyes tomorrow would be more important than the wonderful win they achieved against Paris St Germain last weekend.
Mid-table Nice stunned the big-spending Parisians - Zlatan Ibrahimovic et al - with a 2-1 win earned by an 86th-minute goal from Valentin Eysseric.
And Puel is hoping they can build on that result in what is likely to be wintry conditions in northern France.
``It is always tough to prepare for a game like this against a team that were unfortunate not to beat Rennes (last weekend),'' he told www.actufoot06.com.
Puel knows Nice's ambitions this season are to simply stay in Ligue 1 so a win tomorrow would also act as a further dent to the hopes of 19th-placed Troyes.
``To take three points against Troyes would be more important than three against Paris,'' he said.
Defender Nemanja Pejcinovic added: ``The team know what we have to do against a team who gives a lot. If we play well we can bring home the three points.''
Troyes come in to the game on the back of a dreadful run and needing to get as many points on the board as possible prior to the winter break if they are not to head into the new year needing a miracle to avoid relegation.
Jean-Marc Furlan's side have not won in five games in all competitions and their struggles in the league mean they are now eight points adrift of safety.
