Lille coach Rudi Garcia insists he still has confidence in his strikeforce heading into their crucial home match against Toulouse.
His side have scored just once in the last four Ligue 1 matches, from which they have taken just two points.
That run has contributed to a slide down the table to 11th, six points above the relegation zone.
However, Garcia is backing his forwards to come good and thinks the visit of Toulouse, one point and two places ahead of them, represents the ideal opportunity.
``We need to keep confidence in our strikers. They have talent,'' said the under-pressure coach.
``My role as a coach is to show them my confidence and show them that they are talented players.
``While we will do everything to win and it will be easier to achieve with the fans' backing.
``We need them and that has always been the case. Their support urges us on.
``We need to win at home to return to the right part of the table and start looking up.''
Forward Salomon Kalou is expected to return, having missed the weekend draw at Sochaux, but Franck Beria has had surgery on a broken hand and could be out until the new year.
Toulouse have injury problems of their own with midfielder Moussa Sissoko (groin) and central defender Aymen Abdennour (heel) unavailable and Etienne Didot suspended.
``Aymen is not ready and Moussa is not 100 per cent,'' said coach Alain Casanova.
