Lille boss Rudi Garcia is hoping for more from striker Salomon Kalou as his team seek to improve their placing in Ligue 1.
Garcia's side picked up their first win in four matches in midweek with a 2-0 home defeat of Toulouse.
However, Garcia's men currently languish 10th in the table ahead of the visit to Reims, 10 points behind pacesetters Lyon.
Kalou has netted just three times in 16 matches since his move from Champions League winners Chelsea in the summer - and was substituted 12 minutes from time in midweek.
And Garcia made it clear he expected more from the 27-year-old Ivory Coast international after the Toulouse clash.
He said: ``Kalou can do better, it is obvious, he was a bit short physically. He tried a lot and gave us pace - but it is not enough.''
Lille go in search of only a third away win in 10 away matches against a team who sit just one point and one place above the relegation zone.
Reims were well placed after a decent start to the season - but a woeful recent run leaves them staring at an instant return to Ligue 2.
The 2-0 midweek defeat at fellow strugglers Ajaccio means they have taken just three points from the last 27 available - and without a win since October 6.
Hubert Fournier's team have failed to manage a single goal in their last five games - and the words of president Jean-Pierre Caillot do not strengthen the manager's hold on the job.
Caillot said: ``It is appalling to see games like this. We could have played for hours without scoring against Ajaccio.
``It is starting to get annoying and I hope the boys will react very quickly.''
