Can either side find a winner in the second half? Mexico looked the more likely before the break

Half-time, and plenty of work for Hernan Dario Gomez to do in the Ecuador dressing roon. Delgado gave Ecuador the lead but Borghetti scored a deserved equaliser for the Mexicans and they must be the favourites to win it.

Carmona does well to intercept Obregon's pass to Delgado - but a better ball and the striker would have been through on goal.

Brief spell of Ecuador possession, but they don't look too convincing. One minute's injury time is signalled.

Mexico can all but secure qualification with a win, Ecuador will be on the brink of elimination. But an Ecuador win would put all four sides on three points. Mexico are favourites but will there be another shock?
