It's all over and Togo are out. Frei and Barnetta got the goals for Switzerland, who win and top the group.

And the free kick is easy for Zuberbuhler. That should guarantee him a clean sheet.

Now Togo get a free kick 30 yards out and, to his surprise, Vogel is booked.

From the corner, Adebayor heads over from the penalty spot.

Senaya takes, it is cleared as far as Senaya whose shot is beatutifully struck, but always rising.

Togo do have a corner now, however. Chance for a consolation goal?

And surely now there is no chance for Togo.

A superb angled cross-shot that gave the excellent Agasso no chance.

But there's nothing he can do about this. Barnetta makes it 2-0.

On comes Lustrinelli as the goalscorer Frei departs.

Salifao's corner is headed back by Toure straight into the hands of Zuberbuhler.

First Barnetta takes perhaps his worst free kick of the game. It goes way over the bar.

The Swiss prepare to make their final change. Lustrinelli is the man about to appear.

A nervy moment for Zuberbuhler as he spills a cross, but recovers to gather it at the second time of asking.

Forson crosses again and Senderos heads away.

Forson whips in a cross, Magnin can't control it and it almost falls to Adebayor six yards out - but then Magnin gets a foot in.

Now Barnetta thinks he has played Yakin in on goal, but the offside flag is raised.

Frei goes for the remarkable with a speculative long-range shot that lands on the roof of the net as the goalkeeper back-tracks furously.

The evasive Senaya sets off on a solo run but tries to beat one too many and loses out.

Kader gets in to meet Adebayor's cross, gets a glancing header and it goes wide... but he is ruled offside anyway.

Switzerland, meanwhile, replace midfielder Cabanas with striker Streller. Interesting.

Time is running out for Togo. Defeat would mean they cannot reach the last 16.

Forson takes it and Hakan Yakin heads away at the near post. Something of a waste.

A free kick for Togo in a promising position. Magnin conceded it and they can cross from here.

Mazy run from Senaya, but he pulls his cross back behind everyone at the back post.

Yakin attempts an overhead kick from Frei's cross. He makes contact, but can't get power on his effort.

Cabanas crosses and wins another corner. Yakin takes but the commanding Agassa comes out to claim.

Yakin took the corner, Senderos was beaten in the air but Wicky retrieved possession. He managed a deep cross which Yakin latched on to with a first-time shot. Agassa deals with it.

Barnetta attempts a long-range shot and wins a corner off Forson's challenge.

Yakin whips in a pass to Cabanas who looks for Frei with the first-time ball. It is cut out.

Pfister makes a second change. Dossevi goes off and Senaya is his replacement.

Tactically the Swiss are now playing 4-5-1 with Cabanas, Yakin and Barnetta breaking to join Frei.

Togo earn a corner, but it is wasted, sailing over the jumping Nidombe's head at the back post.

Switzerland look a threat on the counter-attack. Here comes Barnetta, finding Frei on the right and the keeper takes the cross off Barnetta's header.

Forson takes a shot from 40 yards. No shock that it doesn't trouble Zuberbuhler then.

Togo get the corner away and they must be grateful to their keeper for keeping them in the game.

Yakin turns sharply to reach Frei's pass and strikers his shot well. The excellent Agassa parries the shot to deny him a goal.

Good shot from Salifao, hit on the half-volley from 25 yards and not far wide.

Tchangai sends in a really dangerous, swirling cross, but it is just too powerful for his strikers.

The impressive Tchangai is on hand to clear a Barnetta cross. The winger tries again but this time Assimiou Toure is there.

Cabanas plays Frei in on goal. He is 12 yards out with room to turn... and he blazes it over

Degen on the gallop gets away and sends in a high cross but the commanding Agassa comes out to claim.

But back come Togo again and Vogel does well to clear two successive crosses.

Cabanas and Yakin almost link up to send the latter through on goal. Yakin has made a real difference.

The lively Yakin comes forward on the counter-attack and his shot whistles past the angle of cross and bar.

Now a sliding foul from Forson brings a yellow card and he will be banned for the match with the French.

Salifao crosses and Zuberbuhler comes out to claim.

The keeper claims Barnetta's corner, kicks downdield and Kader fouls Vogel.

Terrific left-foot half-volley from Barnetta frm 20 yards is well tipped over by Agassa.

Yakin has a very audacious shot from 40 yards which Tchangai blocks.

Kader holds the ball up but Switzerland are back in numbers. Then Cabanas commits a foul and the Togolese have a free kick.

Adebayor enters the referee's book for dissent. He thought he was fouled by Senderos, but his frustrations may have dated back to that penalty appeal.

Magnin goes for the long throw, but Togo clear.

Switzerland start the second half with the replacement Yakin getting an early touch.

A change for the Swiss - Hakan Yakin coming on for Daniel Gygax.

Half-time and Alexander Frei's goal has given the Swiss the lead. Togo, however, think they deserved a penalty.

Salifao, with the fiercest of challenges, sends Barnetta flying. He is booked.

Forson crosses, but it's straight to Zuberbuhler.

Kader gets to the byline, but can't find the angle to get his cross in.

The sub Salifou puts far too much weight on his pass and Kader, quick as he is, can't reach it.

Instead Cherif-Toure comes forward, strikes his shot well and Zuberbuhler clings on, without too much difficulty.

A chance for Togo to get men in the box as Senderos rather needlessly fouls Adebayor.

Fine low cross from Barnetta and Agassa clings on as Gygax closes in on goal.

And the Swiss break, Frei has a chance and Tchangai gets a block in.

Great interception from Muller as Adebayor's low cross is headed to Kader for a tap-in.

Contact was made, but Adebayor didn't help himself with the manner of his fall.

Adebayor gets away down the left, he falls theatrically over Muller's foot - and though no penalty is given.

Adebayor has the tamest of efforts from 30 yards. Zuberbuhler falls on it.

Neat play from Cabanas, Vogel and Degen on the right for the Swiss, who are decent in possession.

Salifou's free kick curls in and just evades all the jumping Togolese.

And close to an equaliser - Dossevi strikes his shot well but just wide after a terrific run from Assimiou Toure down the left.

The draw for France has really opened up this group, but it's hard to see Henry, Zidane and co wanting a Swiss win today.

The tricky Barnetta goes infield and is brought down.

Kader makes space for a shot, whips it in but straight at Zuberbuhler.

Adebayor with a cheeky pass from behind his own foot - but can't find anyone.

Change for Togo as Agboh comes off and Salifou is his replacement - and it looks tactical.

Defeat for Togo would knock them out at the first stage. But they have been unpredictable, to say the least.

Switzerland come forward with Wicky, but he delays his pass for too long and Cherif-Toure wins it back.

Pressure from Gygax keeps the ball in near the corner glad but Tchangai then wins it back.

Cabanas chests down a play in the Togo box, he he is adjudged offside. He was in a good position.

And at the other end, Frei is as well.

Kader is caught outside at the other end.

Barnetta curls it in, Muller gets the first header, but Togo clear.

Now Gygax gets forward and wins Switzerland another corner.

An even game so far, but the Swiss have struck first.

It was a great surge by the left back and an unselfish bit of play from Barnetta.

GOAL - Frei puts the Swiss ahead, sidefooting Magnin's cross to the unmarked striker.

And Kader shoots on the turn at the other end, but straight into Zuberbuhler's midriff.

Togo, strong in the centre of the park, crowd out the Swiss.

Both centre backs are up. Barnetta aims for Senderos but Agassa comes out well to punch clear.

Gygax and Barnetta combine and the latter wins a corner off the shins of Agboh.

Now Barnetta wins it back. He passes to Cabanas, but his ball to Wicky is over-hit and the Swiss lose momentum.

Slow build-up from the Swiss, but they can't find a way through on the right.

Frei's cross is deflected behind by Tchangai. Corner.

Adebayor turns away from Wicky, crosses and it's not far away from Kader's head. Then Dossevi crosses from the right and Adebayor heads just wide. He thought he was being held, too.

Frei raises unchallenged to head Gygax's cross, but he can't direct it away from Agassa.

Gygax turns away from Toure, but Nidombe is away to clear.

End to end start, which promises much. Togo's first game was entertaining, too.

Now another long-range shot, this time from Barnetta. It sails wide, though he struck it powerfully.

Kader turns away from Senderso, goes alone and thumps a low shot Zuberbuhler holds at his near post.

Vogel blazes way over from 30 yards and the Swiss have had three shots from distance so far.

Degen comes forward on the right flank, picks out Cabanas whose first-time shot is held by Agassa.

Barnetta comes left to get involved, but he can't thread a pass through to his strikers.

Agboh collides with Wicky in a tough challenge.

Fine run down the right flank by Dossevi, he crosses and Switzerland scramble it clear.

Zuberbuhler has to come off his line very quickly to kick clear as the rapid Kader advances.

The Swiss win the ball back straight away, Cabanas chases a long ball to the corner, but it is a goal kick.

Togo get us underway. Wonder if they'll regret their decision to turn up?
