There are a few whistles and jeers around the ground as Portugal listlessly knock the ball about their back four, without any discernable amition or purpose.
Miguel has pushed up a lot in this second half; he is almost playing as a right winger at the moment, since Angola don't appear to have much of a threat down their left-hand side.
The tempo of the game has slowed considerably since the first half, although Angola are trying their best to lift it and put some concerted pressure on Portugal.

ANGOLA SUB: Edson comes on to replace Kalanga, who hasn't had any sort of impace in the second half.
WOEFUL! A loose ball drops to Loco on the edge of the area, but he is reckless with his shot and slices his right-foot effort high and wide.
Portugal remain patient in their build-up as Angola drop a little deeper and soak up the pressure in front of them.

There does seem to be a little frustration from the Portugese fans in the crowd, but their side appear content to show patience in their bid for a second goal.
Angola are trying to play on the break, but they need to get more support up to their lone striker; he looks very isolated at the moment.

A long pass over the top almost reaches Loco, who has made a good run down the right, but the ball skips off the turf and out for a goal-kick.

A superb turn in midfield from Ronaldo sets Miguel free down the right, but his pass in towards Simao is intercepted.

Angola kick off the second half.
The players are back out for the start of the second half.
HALF-TIME: Portugal will be happy with their lead, but Angola have shown enough in the first half to ensure that Portugal will have to concentrate fully in the second.
Loco is very harshly booked for a challenge with Figo, who just catches an accidental kick on the ankle.
SAVE! Figo and Miguel combine well down the right; the full-back pulls a pass back to Ronaldo on the edge of the area, but Ricardo pushes away his fierce shot.
Andre's shot should serve as a little reminder to Portugal, that they will want a second goal to make this game secure in the second half.

Simao and Valente combine well down the left side, but Kalanga has tracked back and cuts out the danger with a committed challenge.
Ronaldo knocks the ball past Delgado and draws the foul; Ronaldo's petulant reaction suggests he is getting a little frustrated with the attentions of the giant Angolan full-back.
OFF THE BAR! Figo's corner is met by Ronaldo inside the penalty area, but the ball thumps against the crossbar and out to safety.
Ronaldo is having a good tussle with Delgado down this near side of the pitch; this time the full-back manaes to put the ball out for a corner at full stretch.
There is a lot of bitter political history between these two countries, but the game has been played in a good spirit thus far. Witness the power of Football - is there nothing this wonderful game cannot do.
Figo drifts past Figueiredo, feeds Simao, but the cross to the back post ends up bouncing off the tanned, taut thighs of young Ronaldo and dribbling wide.
Delgado snaps at Ronaldo in the challenge, kicking the heels of the young winger before the referee finally blows for the foul.
Figueiredo does brilliantly to find Akwa with a pass, despite him falling under a challenge from Valente.
NO, NO, NO! Ronaldo opts to shoot rather than cross for a team-mate from the set-piece; he creams his effort high over the crossbar. Self-indulgent, and woefully poor.

Ronaldo is going through his full range of tricks, although this time he tries something in his own half and loses possession.
The Angolan goalkeeper requires some treatment on a kick to the stomach he took during that incident with Pauleta a moment or two ago; after some sterling work from the Angolan physio, he is back on his feet.
GOOD EFFORT! Ricardo comes out of his area to try and deal with the threat of a long ball up field; Pauleta gets to the ball a second before the goalkeeper, but hooks his shot wide of the far post.
Ronaldo and Figo are beginning to run the game in the final third for Portugal; they are certainly enjoying the freedom that their coach has given them in this system.

Ronaldo beats a couple of challenges as he runs at Jamba, although the Manchester United star just leaves the ball behind as he approached the edge of the penalty area.
Angola really haven't settled yet; Portugal are running past them in midfield with real ease. They need to get themselves together, or else they could be on the end of a real pasting.
It really was poor defending from Jamba; he allowed Figo to ghost past him far too easily, despite the Portugal star's ageing legs.
GOAL! Pauleta turns home from close range after Figo had burst in to the penalty area and rolled a pass back to him.
Angola face a massive task here against their former colonial masters; Portugal are heavy favourites to win this game, and quite comfortably too.
Portgual are missing one of their key midfielders, Deco, who picked up a knock in training a couple of days ago; they still look a fairly formidable side, however.
