Kaka grateful to Mourinho

Real Madrid playmaker Kaka has thanked coach Jose Mourinho for standing by him during tough times and knows he has a "debt'' to the club.

The Brazilian superstar joined Madrid in 2009 but has struggled to replicate the form he showed at AC Milan since arriving in Spain.

Last season was particularly disappointing - in Mourinho's debut year as coach - as injury and poor form made it a campaign to forget.
