Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa is poised to sign a new contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until at least 2013.

Chelsea will either activate a clause in Bosingwa's contract to keep him for an extra year or offer the Portugal international, who has established himself as the Blues' first-choice right back this season, a brand new deal.
