Stoke splash on final day

Stoke have splashed £10 million to bring Tottenham striker Peter Crouch to the club, and made further swoop for a forward in Birmingham's Cameron Jerome, and also added another Spurs player in Wilson Palacios.

Crouch has signed a four-year deal with the Potters after struggling for first-team opportunities at Spurs of late. The deal could rise to as much as £12 million dependent on the fulfilment of various clauses.
