Almiron joins Catania

Catania have landed Argentina midfielder Sergio Almiron from Juventus for an undisclosed fee.

Almiron, who made 25 league appearances while on loan at Bari last season, has penned a three-year contract with Catania.

The 30-year-old becomes Catania's tenth signing this summer.

Catania, who appointed former Roma boss Vincenzo Montella as their new coach last month, finished 13th in Serie A last term.
