Atletico sign Adrian

Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Spain Under-21 striker Adrian Lopez.

Adrian, who was the leading scorer at the recent Under-21 European Championship with five goals as Spain won the tournament, played for relegated Deportivo La Coruna last season and has also had spells at Alaves and Malaga.

Atletico announced on their website: "Adrian Lopez has passed his medical with Atletico Madrid and signed his contract with the Rojiblancos."
