Colombia international Yineth Varon has been provisionally suspended from playing ahead of Colombia's opening World Cup fixture.

Following irregularities within her ''A'' sample from a doping control conducted in Leverkusen on Saturday, goalkeeper Varon was suspended by the chairman of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee. She is suspended from both domestic and international fixtures, friendly or competitive.
